Health & Social Care refers to the practices of various sorts which are used to
ensure that the different types of user groups are able to develop their health in
the right manner without facing problems and issues. Thus in this way it can be
said that it is quite important from the point of view of different user groups that
they can put focus on Health & Social Care. In this presentation, there will be
detailed focus on older people as they are the ones who need maximum attention
regarding it. There will be analysis of current issues affecting older people, the
policies in place for protecting them, theories linked with the situation of older
people. Additionally, specific analysis on legislation which can influence older
people will be discussed as a part of this project.

Older people have various health-related problems. Thus they face various types
of issues regarding health. The issues which are faced by them in relation with
health & social care are explained as follows-
Heart Diseases- Older people face a risk of facing a lot of heart diseases.
They face this risk because this can create a long-term impact on them.
Respiratory Diseases- Older people face a lot of problems and issues in
relation with respiratory diseases.
Ageing Issues- Older people face a lot of ageing issues which can create an

the old-age people can be taken effectively and efficiently. Some of the major

local councils for the purpose of ensuring that the promotion of well-being of the

the old people can be given better advice relating to their financial matters
which can enable them to be able to achieve their particular financial goals
