INTRODUCTION
Global event is defined as all such events in which more than one country is taking
part. All such events that entertained between several different countries are considered as a
global event. More than one country takes part in this event. One country or may be more
than one country host such an event and other countries just come and participate in such an
event. Hosting a global event is not an easy thing to do (Cerutti and et.al., 2020). Different
issues also become part of the event that needs to face by government along with hosting the
main activities associated with the event. Different perspectives like health and social care,
business or law and hospitality, tourism and event are becomes a part of any of the global
event occurred. Security of all the personals becomes part of the event, time scheduling of
such an event, legal regulations and other such issues also becomes part of the event.
Example of global event can be projected as world cup events happened between countries,
Olympic and many other events that entertained at a global level. Global event also caters
positive impacts over country. Impacts such as increased tourism across the globe, improved
popularity of the country’s various destinations and many such positive changes also
entertained by government whenever any global event occurred in the nation. The aim of this
report is to suggest government about different impacts associated with hosting a global level
event. Both positive and negative impacts associated with hosting a global level event will be
projected in this report. Furthermore, this project will also give emphasis over various
benefits associated with conducting a global event and recommendations will be granted to
deal with all the different challenges associated with hosting a global level event in a nation.
Recommendations will support the government in maximising the benefits of hosting a global

Global event involve multiple nations that take a part in such an event. Olympic is one
of the biggest global level events. This is an organisation that conducts event of multiple
sports between countries. This part of the project will emphasis over different aspects related
to global event. Various perspectives also attached when an event at global level host by a
country. These perspectives comprises with health and social care, business or law and
hospitality, event and tourism.

Health and social care
Health and social care is one of the key issue associated with the global event.
Olympic games hosted by country which drive them to ensure the high level health and safety
standards for all the sports players from different sports backgrounds all across the globe
(Cheng and et.al., 2017). Health care is a key issue. As the health risk of player can spoil the
entire career of such a sports person. All the health standards are met up whenever any global
level event occurred in the country. With the support of medical team and professional
doctors government can serve the best level of health care facilities to all the players and
supporting staff.
Social care is another critical aspect associated with hosting a global level event.
Social care is about to ensure the proper protection to players participate in such an event.
Social care involves taking care of all different areas of excellence for the player.
Maintaining proper hygiene is also a key issue. Many times players face issues in form of
slanging due to different nationalities. This also needed to be taken care by government as a

Nedunchelian, 2018). Social care also involve meeting up all different requirements
associated with the different games held in the event. Every game has its own requirements
and needs and while hosting the Olympic game that comprises with multiple gaming events
government requires to ensure the proper facilities for all types of game so that player can
serve the best gaming experience at the event time. Health and social care standards are the
necessary requirements associated with hosting any Olympic game. As players at top level

As the event takes place many elements such as they need to arrange stay of all the players,

players, support staff, coaches and all other professionals are arrange at the hotel.
Event is denoted as organising the main activities such as sport game that are the sole
basis behind conducting the event at global level. Government need to schedule each and
every game in a systematic manner. Scheduling of all the games is a tough task that needs to
play. Specially in an event like Olympic where bunch of different sports are organise
scheduling each game in different dates in such a way that each player get the proper rest in
the event before playing any new game is a tough task. Times are set that seek an immense
amount of planning and controlling over the event management activity.

Global level event also improve tourism in the country. This is the major advantage
government get as this is a good promotion of tourism in the country. Government get to
promote all its places in front of players and all other foreign tourist who are the supporter of
the game and came to support the game and players. Many tourists also come in these events
to explore the entire event and also the places of country which create a huge boost in the
overall revenue of the country in form of tourist and other such form of income. Tourism also
brings foreign currency to the country which further improves the economic growth of the

and et.al., 2020). This entire event is very popular all across the globe. The people who are
not aware about the country also search about the sot country due to this event. This event
motivates people and tourist all across the globe to come at the host country to explore
different locations and travel destination at such places. Security of all the travellers who
came to experience the entire event also became risky. Terrorist look for these type of
opportunities to create damage to people. This is a major challenge of the security of all the
people participate in event.

government in collecting funds for the event. Sponsors will look at all the funding

government in arranging budget for the event. This is the key steps that can be taken by
government in making the event successful.
Ensure security protection: Security is a key area of concerned in the global event situation.
Players and peoples all across the globe come and experience the entire event. Arranging
high level security will allow the government to control the entire event in the best way
possible. This will allow government to resist any kind of accident and terrorist attack that are

Event management: This type of event requires proper event management support.
Government can hire many companies who can manage this event. This is an effective
strategy that can be channelizes to conduct the event (Usuda-Sato and et.al.,2018).

specially in this type of event. This will improve the convenience for all the players.
