Introduction
Oman Cables was founded in the year 1984. It has headquartered in Rusayl, the Sultanate of
Oman. It manufactures, develops and market the integrated range of conductors and electrical
cables in the Middle East, the Sultanate of Oman, North Africa as well as internationally. The
company also offers the low voltage power, medium voltage power cables, pilot cables,
control cables, low smoke and fume building cables, and lead the sheathed low and medium
voltage cables, and overhead line conductors. It also sells and manufacturers the aluminium
rods. The facilities of manufacturing are situated within the biggest industrial complex in
Muscat. Its factor and offices are presented by occupying the area about 135000 sqm by
doing the future expansion.1 It also has equivalent facilities in the Sohar at its manufacturing
facility of Aluminium. It also has the capacity of copper of more than 120,000 MT yearly. By

It is true that every Company has weaknesses in its company related to resources and
competencies. In the reports of Company, it is founded that Oman Cables is a prominent
manufacturer in Oman. Recently, it is facing the issues of political influences, oil prices, and
commodity process of aluminium and copper. These all are the main drivers in the economy
