sustain the competitive advantage in the business sectors notwithstanding the number of
competitors (Shang et.al 2017).
Theory of its use
The competitive advantage of both the firms can be analyzed through the theory of
competitive advantage presented by Porter in the year 1985. The theory of the competitive
advantage of both these firms states that the businesses of these two sectors should be able to
pursue the policies that will result in the creation of the goods of higher quality in order to sell
them at higher level of price in the market (Pundak, Chin and Sim 2017).
The second theory that can be applied is that of the Adam Smith’s ‘wealth of nations’
theory where the focus is on the central problem of the information transmittal system that will
lead to the rise in the middle men factor in the market place (Pundak, Chin and Sim, 2017).The
application of this strategy, the purveyor of the information will be pertaining to the competitive
advantage of the effective website, along with the gain in the competitive advantage through the
production of the effective form of the website , which in the past required massive and
extensive effort to find the right person for cultivating the relationship status (D’Amuri and
Marcucci 2017).
Recommendations
Both the competitive of Google and EBay when compared in terms of fostering the
strong regional connections, it can be stated that EBay has a much larger share in the competitive
advantage sector than Google. This is mainly because of the more strategic capabilities of EBay
in the evaluation of the worth risks and at the same time mitigation of those risks by strictly
complying with the laws mentioned. In order to increase the share of the competitive advantage

The socio economic effects of the embargo of the United States on Cuba has been
calculated by the embargo costs of the Policy Foundation that will have a total share of 3.6
billion dollars per year in terms of the economic output shares. However several critics have
focused on the negative effects on food, and clean water and regarding the other economic needs
of the population of Cuba. The critics have also focused on the travel restrictions that will be
embedded in the embargo that will be characterized by the shortages of the supplies of the
medicines that will be at the heightened levels of the diseases that will be infectious. Many
critics have pointed out that the major problems that lies with this embargo is that the United
States act as the major country that has imposed its embargo against Cuba in the first place. Cuba
has still received the tourists and the trade inflows from the other countries which will make the
embargo to look both pointless and illegitimate in character.
Process of work of the Embargo:
Recently the administration under Trump has tightened its regulations on the individual
travel in the people to people interaction. This tightened action has put restrictions on the
opportunities of trade along the certain entities of Cuba that will restore the diplomatic ties with
the nation of Cuba. The government of Cuba has frequently blamed the government of United
States for the ‘blockade’ faced by Cuba and for the associated economic problems of the country.
