Reflection on Interest Profiler:
It was interesting taking this Interest Profiler. I got to understand my interests by
choosing on a range of jobs I would either like or dislike to be doing. From the exercise, I
realized that I am conventional as this was the highest score at 40. I have also realized that I am
enterprising, realistic, investigative, and social as well as artists. Being conventional, I have now
known that I am such a person who works with clear rules and follow a strong leader. This
means that favour works that follow set procedures as well as routines. By this, I have realized
that I prefer working with information and being attentive to details to working with ideas.
I prefer works for business start-up and operation. I prefer taking actions instead of
thinking about things. Specifically, I am someone who likes to persuade and leading people, I
love making decisions as well as taking risks to make the profits. This exercise made me get to
know more regarding my interests that I did not know before. For this reason, I will try to focus
on my areas of interests to be successful. I would take more of such exercise even in the future to
know whether I have changed from my current interests. I believe this will make me understand
myself even better.
Reflection on Work Importance Profiler Results:
It was quite challenging to arrange different statements regarding my perfect job. I
realized that they were all critical for my perfect job. However, I managed to arrange them to
know the most important ones. However, the challenge was that at sometimes, it appeared that I
was indifference in arranging them. This is because they seem to have been arranging for me as I
was continuing. I realized that the more I arrange, and towards the end of the exercise, most of
the statement had matched what I believed was the correct order.

However, I have learned how to make an important decision when presented with options
that all seem to be of value into my life. I realized that there is a need for someone to take time
before making decisions. This is because making decisions while one is in a hurry leads to
oversight of some critical decisions that would otherwise have been reached with an informed
mind.
Nonetheless, I must say that it was easy to “click and drag the statements” to come up
with the order. I realized that the statement kept on resurfacing and sometimes I was even
tempted to go with the already order because I got indifference at some point. I realized that the
most two critical values are support and independence in order of importance. I also realized that
my other values, including relationships, working conditions, achievement and recognition.
