as web based learning. Online

by multinationals for providing
better education with ease of

world (Xie and et.al, 2019) .

Merits of online learning
 Improved teaching – Online learning has improved the way of
teaching. Teachers became efficient with help of advanced tools
like podcasts, pdf and others which improved the understanding
of students and provide them with hassle free learning.
 Location – Web based learning has helped students in learning
from their preferred location without any hassle. Learners can
take the class from any part of the world and it clearly shows its
easy accessibility.
 Affordable – Many times it happens that traditional teaching is
seems to be quite costly and it leads to break in education of
learners. In this case, online learning is like a boon for them as it
involves less cost and it is due to less inclusion of extraordinary
items.

Demerits of online learning
 Technology – It has been seen that technology creates obstacles in
online learning. Load over internet has increased in recent years and it
leads to network slowdown.
 Isolation – Online learning create surrounding which is silent and it
develops a sense of isolation in learner's mind. Isolation leads to
depression and serious health hazards in some cases.

Conclusion
Web based learning is becoming efficient day by day because it
has accessibility all over the world. The level of learning has
reached to a very advanced level and none want to waste their
time in classrooms or traditional learning. The competition is
increasing and time constraint learning does not help in meeting
