learning and how it is useful in present
times. Along with this, the benefits and
drawbacks present with regard to this
concept in today’s times.

What Is Online Learning.
The education that occurs entirely on the internet
platform regardless of the geographical location of
the students and the teacher is termed online
learning also termed e-learning. In this method of
learning, the students learn in a virtual scenario
and not in a traditional classroom setup. The
learning takes place through the help of electronic
technologies and gadgets connecting the students
and the teachers.

Benefits Of Online Learning
 Online classes improve efficiency: Online learning provides teachers
with various efficient ways to provide lessons to students. As it has a
variety of tools such as PDFs, podcasts, and videos which can be
utilized by the students to provide their lessons more effectively. By
expanding teaching beyond the traditional methods in the online
courses, teachers will definitely attract efficiency in their teaching
styles and methods.
 Online classes provide accessibility to time and place: Online
classes assist students with the benefit of attending the classes from any
suitable location which eliminates the geographical issue of traditional
teachings. It helps the schools to reach a more extended network of
students and learners rather than being packed in the locational
restrictions.

Drawbacks Of Online Learning
 Online classes have a sense of isolation: online learning has the
biggest disadvantage of students’ isolation as online learning
restricts the number of physical interactions among students
which affects their overall growth and learning apart from the
educational aspect in the entire process.
 Online classes increase screen time: Online classes increase the
screen time of students and children at a high rate. They spend a
massive amount of time staring at their screens which hugely
affects their health and is a big concern for the parents and a
major disadvantage. They sometimes even develop bad posture
problems and other physical issues due to constantly sitting in
front of the screen.
