INTRODUCTION
It can be said that children are now addicted to online video games rather than playing
outdoor games. The trend of online games is increasing and children are just fall in love with
this. In this context, the research project will cover the possible investigation project outline
identification and elements contributing in investigation process and encourage the research
topic. In addition, review of literature, research aim, objectives and questions including
appropriate plan and procedures (Methodology and timescale) will be provided. Further,
match resources used to the research questions, specification and procedures and record and
description of data will be provided. Finally, the report will cover methods used to examine

It can be said that there is both positive and negative impact of online video games on
children in Newham Council in United Kingdom. The trend of online video games is
increasing day by day and children are getting addicted to it. In this context the research
project will cover a perception related to the impact of online video games on children
including development and factors for the responsible growth addiction to games. The
research will focus on methodologies and approaches used to analyse the impact of video
games on children.
Project aim: The aim of this research is to develop an understanding on the impact of the
negative and positive impact of online video game on children in (Newham Council) in UK.

yong boys are facing is through bullying that takes place playing online with young boys who
are facing such bullying along with them who themselves bullying other boys as well (Boxer,
Groves and Docherty, 2015). It can be said that, along with negative impact, it has been
analysed that playing online games also has some positive side also.

a factor which leads to increases the opportunity to play the game which results them in
making addictive to play the game. It can be said that with the increase in technology, the
level of online game advancement is also increasing as the video game company are making
efforts to innovate different types of games with different character and themes. It gives raise
to the number of games in UK which are being more and more addictive to such games.

games. As addiction of the online games share some negative aspects that leads to

framework on the effects of the products placement in advertising. The advertising sometime,
influences the sub conscious mind of the people which leads to swallow up the facts and
negative effects of the particular product.

said that in order to maintain the health of the young boys, the parents need to engage boys in

Addiction of online games is no doubt is dangerous for the health and psychological disorder

For the present research, qualitative method is used to collect information. In this regards,
appropriate tools such as interview method is used to collect the valuable information. In
addition, the information collected is reliable. The research information is also valid that it is

participant’s believes that cost of cable television is higher which the parents cannot afford
and tilt towards playing online video games which are much cheaper. The members of the
investigation have perception that video games leads to increase their problem solving skills
rather than engaging in boring school assignments.
