AI Summary
This report presents the design and analysis of an online hotel booking system, developed for a club with ten function rooms. The current manual booking system's inefficiencies are addressed by proposing a new online system. The report includes an introduction outlining the problem and background information on the existing system. It then details the new booking system's features, such as online payment options and room capacity variations. The core of the report consists of system diagrams, including a use case diagram to clarify system requirements, a domain diagram representing real-world concepts, a sequence diagram illustrating interactions, and a class diagram defining the system's structure. The conclusion summarizes the benefits of the new system, emphasizing its ease of use for both guests and administrators. References to relevant research papers are also provided.

2ONLINE HOTEL BOOKING SYSTEM
Introduction:
The purpose of this paper is to help in making a website for online hotel booking
system. A hotel reservation system is basically a software application which is implemented
by the hotel for allowing the consumers to make secure online booking (Bilgihan and Bujisic,
2015). For clear idea, there will be an overview of the system that will be described by a Use
case diagram, sequence diagram, class and domain diagram.
Background:
The club wants a website for an online room booking system. There are ten rooms in
the club. At present, the club is maintaining a manual room booking system that is becoming
very much difficult for maintenance. For the current system, the customer have to call the
club and the admin of the club will then help the customer for choosing the room on the basis
of time, day, no of people and availability of rooms. The guest needs to pay ten percent of the
payment at the time of booking confirmation.
New booking system:
The new booking system will be very much helpful for the guests to make booking
for a room. Each of the rooms are having different capacities as well as they will be having
different rates (Saito et al., 2017) . There will be online payment options which will give the
opportunity to the customer to make the payments online. For the new booking system the
paper works will be reduced. For the new system the customers have to login for making new
booking. The guest will then select the date and number of people. The system will then
search for the available rooms in the room database. After having confirmation the customer
will get the print out or email.

Use case diagram:
The use case diagram is basically a graphical depiction with the interactions that are
between the elements of the system (Do and Shih, 2016). In the system analysis, the use case
diagram is used for identifying, clarifying as well as organising the requirement of the
system. Below the use case diagram of the online room booking system is given.
Domain diagram:
The domain model diagram is basically a conceptual diagram of a domain which
incorporates with both the data and behaviour. The domain model diagram is the presentation
of real world concept to the domain which is required to the modelled. Below is the domain
model diagram of the new system.

Sequence diagram:
The sequence diagram can simplify the interactions between the objects in an order
that is sequential. In the sequence diagram, event scenarios and event sequence can be used.
The sequence diagram can be used by the software developers and businessman for
understanding the requirements for the new systems (Masiero and Nicolau, 2016). Below is
the sequence diagram of the new online booking system.

Class diagram:
The class diagram is defined as UML diagram which is a kind of static structure
diagram that can describe the structure or framework by showing the structure of the system.
Below is the structure of new online booking system.

Conclusion:
Thus, it can be concluded that the new booking system will provide easier ways in the
booking system. It will help both the guest and administrator to manage the booking. The
online payment system will help both of them to avoid hesitation.
