1.What is Online learning.
Online learning refers to the education
which occurs on the internet platform
irrespective of the physical location of
the teacher or the students. It is also
known as e-learning (D’Souza, 2022).
Online learning is a part of the whole
concept of distance learning which is
explained as any type of learning that
takes occurrence across a distance and
not in the setting of a traditional
classroom.

Benefits of Online learning:
1. Online classes are flexible: Many students start with
online classes as they get the benefit of flexibility as
compared to traditional teaching. It provides them
with the facility of attending the classes with their
comfort place hence enabling higher focus and
complete the learning at own comfortable pace
(Agarwal, 2021).
2. Online classes are more affordable: The online
classes are comparatively affordable against the
traditional school teaching environment. This is a huge
benefit for such learners who don't have huge finances
to invest in physical education as they can acquire it
with a lower financial investment.

Drawbacks of Online learning:
1. Online classes require additional training for
teachers: In online teaching scenario, the teachers are
supposed to take that extra step to generate a beneficial
online curse for the learners. Replicating the traditional
classroom methods will not help to achieve a positive
response and may lead to failure in achieving targeted
results and understanding of the concepts to the learners.
2. Online classes are prone to technical issues: With online
learning, there is a constant struggle with the technical
issues and defaults that occur. This impacts the teaching
consistency and even affects the understanding of many
learners in the online class environment.
