INTRODUCTION
Online learning is considered as method or technique according to which learning is
taken place by the help of internet. It is also known as e learning, in current time due to COVID
19 education system need to opt online learning medium (Dhawan, 2020). The aim of developing
this report is to determine attitude of potential learner towards the online learning. Topics
covered in this report are meaning of online learning as well as it also include opportunity and
challenges of online learning and it also include recommendation related to respective topic.
MAIN BODY
Online learning is considered as method in which educational activities are conducted
through the online medium or internet. In this educational practices conducted through different
sources like personal computer, laptop, tables and mobile phone but it all required good
connectivity of internet. In current pandemic situation of COVID 19 all educational institutes
like school, college and university are moving towards the online learning because in this all it is
not safe to move outside (Lesort and et.al., 2020). But while adopting online learning educational
institutions experiences situations related to opportunities and challenges. The opportunity of
online learning is that students are able to continue their study without moving out for going
school. On the other hand it has some challenges or issues such as there are some students who
cannot access to the reliable internet for conducting classes on regular basis. In order to
overcome this, there are some recommendations such as teacher may post video of lectures for
those students who can not able to attain class due to internet. Along with this, school or college
can open their premisses for those student who can not access to internet but while this they need
to all guidelines provided by government.
CONCLUSION
By conducting evaluation of above mentioned topics it can be determine or summarised
that due to COVID 19 education system around the world is adopting online medium and
accordingly they upgrade their technology. There are several opportunity as well as challenges
related to the online learning like opportunity is that in respective pandemic situation education
of potential learners are continue without moving outside but there are some students who cannot
afford reliable internet access which leads to gap.
