droplets etc., most of the companies have come over the online platform for doing their
businesses and it is assisting them in providing the basic necessitates. Under this situation,
company perform their business in these circumstances and at the same time also implement
their activities in safer way. This can be beneficial in attaining success in future time frame
and also improve the possibilities of attaining competitive success (Nicola and et. Al., 2020).
Along with this, it has been evaluated that online business is one of the famous activities in
which company focus on providing safe and secured services to its customers so that they can
easily satisfied their needs and wants. In addition of this, it is also beneficial in maximizing
the profitability level of the company at market place. It not only increases sale but also
support in maintaining social distancing within the company. This is the reason that company
is going to develop an effective business idea i.e. Online medicine application through which

can be also beneficial for company to improve their customers base for value perception. It
may contributes in attaining competitive advantage from its competitors in pandemic
situation.

Return on Investment (ROI) is a measurable statistic being used measure the
performance of an investment or to analyse the effectiveness of a range of different
investment. ROI attempts to calculate explicitly the magnitude of the return on a specific
investment compared to the expense of the capital. The profit (as well as return) of an
investment is determined by the value of the investment to estimate the ROI. The outcome is
measured as a proportion and also as a measure. ROI is amongst the most commonly
employed productivity indicators due to its durability. With that said, another of the
drawbacks of the ROI calculation is that it can be influenced, so the findings can differ
among users. If ROI is used to evaluate assets, it is crucial using the same inputs to produce
an appropriate comparison.
Project plan and budget
While developing a new business idea, it is important for project manager to make an
effective plan for project so that each and every activity can be easily undertaken. This can be
beneficial in improving the possibilities of attaining positive results at the end of the project.
In this regard, company is going to launch a new application i.e. known by Pharma Hub that
is online site or website by which company can easily offer medicine to its customers in the
situation of COVID-19. This can be beneficial in keeping social distancing and also
beneficial in maintaining safe and secure within the company (Hua and Shaw, 2020). In this
pandemic situation, this project can be effective as it helps in easily providing the necessary
medicine to customers so that they satisfy their needs in context of medicine. For undertaking
this project, manager of the project is required around £150 for completing this project
successfully. Under this budget various expenses is covered like manpower, machinery,

stationary and many more. With the help of enough fund project manager can easily
undertake the project in a systematic manner.

The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is an implementable-oriented process of breaking
down to be carried out by the project team in order to achieve the goals of the project and to
produce the necessary project requirements. WBS is the foundation of any successful project
planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and reporting. All research within the WBS shall
be specified, calculated, organized and coordinated. In addition of this, it is also help in
determining the common understanding the overall scope. It is also hierarchical description
of entire task activities that must be completed in deliverables of a project activities (Hunter,
2020). One of the main advantages of developing work break down structure also describes
the planned outcomes instead of entire planned actions that assist in attaining end goals and
objectives in a systematic manner. Apart from this, one of the major goals of WBS is to make
lager project more manageable which is breaking down into a smaller aspect. With the help

of this, all the activities can be effectively completed by managing the overall project. It is
also contributing in cutdown the possibilities of arising any kind of risk factors at the time of
undertaking a project activity.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussed plan, it can be evaluated that development of new
application is effective in dealing in current pandemic situation. By this, Pharma Hub serve
online medicine to its customers as per their need and wants at home as well. It is also
providing opportunity to company in enhancing their profitability level at market place by
established its competitive image. Thus, it is important for company to analysis the market
and customers requirements before serving its online services so that they easily reach their
clients and provide them accordingly. With the assistance of this, larger profitability can be
easily acquired and attain success at market place.

Reflection
Sudden arise of Covid-19, converted into a pandemic has change the process of doing
business completely. The larger impact can be seen in the life of human because their
behaviour has totally gone through a transformation. Complete lockdown has made the issue
more prominent as people were not allowed to move out of their houses so that spreading of
the disease could be controlled. Thus, online business has taken over the market and they
provided with the necessary items during this pandemic. Therefore, with the commencement
of this academic session I gradually look upon the factors and elements that are being
affected. Thus, I evaluated that other than affecting the human lives, people are facing to get
their medicines. Moreover, so as to understand the purpose of doing the research this could
be understandable through Gibbs Reflection model and the stages are included for proper
analysation.
Stage 1: Description: In order to do my research I analyse the problems people are
facing during this pandemic and hence, I got to know that old aged people and people who
are suffering from severe diseases are fearing of going out of their homes because of they are
scared if they will be infected by Covid-19. Therefore, this was the main reason why I choose
the topic for doing my assessment i.e. to develop a mobile application so that people can
easily order their medicines sitting at their homes. My process for developing an application
will work as a great assistance for getting themselves medicines and other medical aid.

Moreover, before starting of my project I communicated with many people who could help
me out in this project through written and least with verbal by keeping (social distancing into
consideration). With the help of a presentation I explained the purpose of developing this
application and instead a great response was achieved. Therefore, I learned programmes and
taken classes to become more efficient in developing mobile application. People who want to
use the “Pharma Hub” application they can download the same from play store or apple app
store. The application was developed in such a manner that with an easy access the desired
medicines can be order and thus, will be delivered at your place.
Stage 2: Feelings: After consulting my tutor regarding the motive of developing the
application, was very amazed to have a thought like that. But the tutor told me that there are
many mobile applications who deals in the same field but it is important to make a difference
in order to standout from others. Therefore, to make the process easier, I added a feature
through which just scanning the QR code of the product they can get the detail of the
medicine thus, no need of putting the entire name of the medicine. This will be convenient for
people who are old age and face problem in operating the phone well. Later on, after
gathering some more information and doing the alterations in the process of developing the
application I presented the idea for the one more time and all the people along with my tutor
were convinced. Therefore, I started my journey of developing the application.
Stage 3: Evaluation: While developing this application, my experience was pretty good
although I face difficulties in managing the presentation of the application i.e. what are the
options that will be included in the application. However, including the different categories
made the application messed up which didn’t work out. Later, I decided to limit the options
and provide with the important one such as QR code scanner, easy medicine search tab etc.,
Moreover, in some sections of developing the application I faced issues in coding the
programme and for this I took help from the IT department and their contribution made the
task easier.
Stage 4: Conclusion: While developing “Pharma Hub” application I faced some
difficulties but my overall experience was very good. I get to learn new things like
programming, interacting with various people increased my knowledge related to the items
that I should put in the application for making it more convenient.
Stage 5: Action: In context with this, considering the future plan I have done the coding
in such a way that if required than by doing some modifications changes could be done. In

future I will be more organised and things that are needed to be done will be considered as
top priority.
