In this research Juniper assess the impact, challenges and opportunities that are being occurred
because of digital payment regulation. The aim of this research is evaluate the intelligence
techniques to capture security of payment in electronic transactions. Juniper Research totally
consider the online payment fraud issue with target on impact, influence and scope that has been

In rise of online payment mechanism globally and consider to make payment online rather than
focusing on security and behavioral risk, it is stated that the only the money transfer processing
specially done more than 20% fraud cases that is worth of 10 billion dollar. Use of synthetic
identity to process fraud job becomes low because it take time for the fraudster to establish a
network to make a breach and in many cases their target are system didn’t enough secure to
indicate this type of fraud. The authorities who provide fraud management services consists
solution to overcome from this type of problem but in most cases they also become failed.
Moreover the Juniper states that the process that has been used by the Magecart organization and
is too common like fraudster tries to create a product from their experience to make fraud cases.

Here this group uses the malware and multiple gateway technique for performing criminal
activities and for criminal gain. The research report prepared by Juniper suggested using a best
way to get prevent from such type of fraud that is done through malware, system hijacking and
multiple payment gateway use. The process of single channel prevention from fraud activities
and a strategy to assess and resolve the risks from cyber security point of view can become

mechanism. The aim of the paper is to provide idea about multiple payment system existed, to

existence of two types of payment systems. One is internet based online payment system and

A preliminary research gap or statement of the research problem
After performing detailed analysing activities on both of the identified journal I have found that,
they have missed an other area of online digital payment fraud and that is mobile commerce and
attractive email offer on email to make payment to purchase a bit higher price product in cheap.
These two activities have been done with almost maximum user and get increased higher than
other activities. Here the mobile revolution make a user capable to purchase a mobile but still
huge number of people didn’t know about the fraud link on browser or fraud email. This should
also be considered and a message in local area language should be send to all users to aware them
about the fraud.

A critical reflection of your learning experience
I have selected a research paper and analyssed the basic problem and provided analysis over that.
Before completion of this work I didn’t have any expertise in identification of fraud in most of
the cases mentioned in this research report. Before completion of the research work, I didn’t
expect that it will complete but by help of online resource, I have effectively performed different
tasks and motivation to go through the deep learning for the online fraud payment. To understand
the online Payment Fraud environment, I have studied different type of journals, blogs and news
to prepare rough idea about the causes of online payment fraud, type of fraudster, countries
where this type of fraud occur on large scale and the possible solution to protect from such type
of fraud. I have learnt lot from this research and read how fraudsters done all these stuffs and get
located by cyber team. In first section I have consider the research work Juniper which provided
detailed analysis over the online payment fraud and specified about the breaches that could be
done by fraudsters. I have also concluded two other research works and related all those with the
selected research paper. Once research work and analysis were done, I tested the work on
Turnitin to check similarity from the original research and affix in appropriate place. I have also
evaluated the adopted technique to prevent from the fraud issue on intermediate and large scale
like going for encryption technique at early stage. I have got extensive support from the tutor
who guides me to select topic, provide guideline to make research work and help to understand
the requirements. My colleagues and friends who are from security providing field also explain
about the term online payment fraud broadly and get an encouragement from the parent
throughout the research work.
