INTRODUCTION
This study is related to the impact of price
change on the high demanded products
during the covid scenario as well as the post
covid scenario. The starting of the first lock
down was around March, 2020 which
showed that there was drastic increase in the
price of the hand sanitizers. The reason
behind the inflate prices has backed of their
customers which is adding to their distress at
a time of certain vulnerability. The major
reason of choosing this topic “Online
changes in the prices during the lock down in
UK – Sanitizers” to understand the price
speculation which occurred during the pre
and post covid phase.
CONCLUSION
It is concluded from the above
details there was a huge amount of
increase in the prices of the
sanitizers. The increase amounted
close to 400% percent which created
a dramatic impact on the sales of the
company. The organization which
were selling sanitizers made a huge
profit but eventually the customers
got shifted towards the alternatives
to save the huge amount of costs.

The data ascertained from the

fluctuation in the prices of

cent.
The cost of the bottled sanitizer
increased from £1 in January
directly to £5 in the mid- March.
