This capstone project details the development of an online reservation system with SMS notification for the Josephine Testa-Abello, DMD Dental Clinic. The project, submitted to Trimex Colleges in Biñan, Laguna, aims to automate appointment booking, patient information management, and report generation. The system includes modules for administrators, dentists, and patients, offering features like appointment requests, schedule viewing, and record access. The project addresses the clinic's need to move from manual operations to an automated system, enhancing efficiency, reducing errors, and improving patient service. It includes a review of related literature and studies, discussing the benefits of electronic dental records and online reservation systems. The system's significance extends to the company, business owner, dentists, front office personnel, patients, developers, and future researchers, providing an effective patient information management and appointment handling system.
