Project
AI Summary
This project report presents a comprehensive analysis of an Online Stud Farm Management System (OSFMS). The report begins with an assessment of the Measurable Organizational Value (MOV), identifying the desired area of impact and ranking it based on strategic, customer, financial, operational, and social considerations. The project prioritizes strategy and aims to enhance business strategies, customer acquisition, financial benefits, operational efficiency, and social impact through an online booking system. The report then details the project scope, outlining requirements, out-of-scope items, assumptions, and constraints. A scope management plan is developed to ensure the project's objectives are met. Resource planning includes personnel, technology (hardware, software, and network), and facilities. Finally, the project uses MS Project to develop a schedule, including milestones for each phase and a detailed work breakdown structure (WBS) with tasks, durations, start and finish dates, predecessors, resources, and costs. The project is designed to be completed within 8 months, focusing on delivering a secured, efficient, user-friendly, and reliable system for consumers.

(Note: the MOV should inform everyone what the project will achieve, not how it will be achieved. It
should also focus on the organisation, not on the technology that will be used to build or support the
information system).
Choose the area of impact you have ranked as no 1.
For that area of impact
With reference to your project, identify one or two of the following types of value:
Better - is improving quality important to your client?
Faster - does your client want to increase efficiency?
Cheaper - is cutting costs important?
Do more - does your client want to continue its growth?
The online management system developed by Stud Farm is required to be unique one

processing time will become lesser and the overall system processing will become much
faster. It will help to give service to more number of consumers within a smaller time
range which was not possible in traditional booking phase.
Develop an appropriate metric - this sets the target and expectation of all the stakeholders.
It is important to determine a quantitative target that needs to be expressed as a metric in
terms of an increase or decrease of money.

manager is to give a user
friendly and commercially
beneficial online booking
system to their consumers.
To gain effective commercial
profit and competitive
advantages from the
marketplace.

is to deliver proper service to
the consumers to prevent
them to go outside New

from the system.
Requirements suppliers To deliver necessary
requirements (hardware,
software and network) so that
the Stud Farm can develop an
error free system for the
consumers.
To collect profit from the Stud
Far company where they are
delivering the requirements.
Determine the timeframe for achieving the MOV - ask yourselves, when do we want to
achieve this target metric?
From the overall system requirements and the other necessary actions those have been planned and
expected to be obtained from the outcome of the online stud farm management system it can be
