AI Summary
This report provides an analysis of Just-in-Time (JIT) implementation within operation management, drawing upon multiple journal articles to identify key issues and provide recommendations. The analysis focuses on how JIT techniques can reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance financial performance by optimizing inventory and supply chain processes. Articles such as ‘Lean thinking: reduction of waste, lead time, cost through lean manufacturing tools and technique’, ‘An alternative solution technique of the JIT lot-splitting model for supply chain management’ and ‘Quality management approaches and their impact on firms ׳financial performance–An Australian study’ are examined to highlight the benefits and challenges of JIT implementation. The report emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement, employee flexibility, and strong supplier relationships for successful JIT adoption, while also acknowledging that the effectiveness of JIT can vary depending on organizational perspectives and economic conditions. Concluding with recommendations for effective JIT implementation, the report stresses the need for proper training, technological integration, and a comprehensive understanding of both internal and external environments.

Introduction
Just in time is being considered as an inventory system which is very affective in
management practices. Just in time is the method that can help to manage the inventory system
in the workplace. In another word, it can be said that by using the JIT management technique, it
becomes easier for the organization increase its performance efficiency as well as cut the cost by
reducing the amount of wastage (Zarandi & Kayvanfar, 2015). The purpose of this study is to
analyze different journal articles and identify the issues. The three selected articles are ‘Lean
thinking: reduction of waste, lead time, cost through lean manufacturing tools and technique’,
‘An alternative solution technique of the JIT lot-splitting model for supply chain management’
and ‘Quality management approaches and their impact on firms׳ financial performance–An
Australian study’. At the end of this study recommendations have been provided, which can be
beneficial for the organizations to implement the Just in time strategy in the workplace in right
manner.
Analysis
Modi and Thakkar (2014) stated that in case of increasing the efficiency of the
management, the just in time technique is being utilized in the workplace. By applying the just in
time technique, the waste which is associated with the excess inventory, overproduction and
others material related issues can be effectively solved. By maintaining the uniform production
system, the financial cost can be decreased. It also helps to reduce the inventory as well as the
labor in the project. By maintaining continuous improvement as well as increasing employee
flexibility, Just in time approach helps to reduce the working time.

approach in operation management, the automated purchasing process has been introduced in the
workplace. In this process, the suppliers are being able to get the electronic message, which has
helped to improve the efficiency of the employees.
According to Modi and Thakkar (2014), by following the JIT approach, the limited

implementations of different operational strategies.
Analyzing the workplace environment in the operational context, it has been identified
that in most of the cases, bringing innovation by maintaining the quality of performance has
become the major concern for the organizations. Most of the cases, the managers are not being
able to maintain the standard quality of performance in the workplace, which has impacted on
the firm productivity. On the other hand, innovation has become necessary for the firms to
maintain the strong brand position in the competitive market. Chung, Lin and Srivastava (2015),
opined that in the performance evaluation process, it has been identified that quality orientation

By conducting the research on Australian Bureau of statistical growth, it has been analyzed that
quality management orientation is very important in the firm for bringing the statistical growth in
the workplace (Goetsch & Davis, 2014). In case of bringing the growth in the financial
performance, effective quality management initiatives is required.

Conclusion
In this study, it can be concluded that Just in time approach is very important to be
implemented in the workplace for improving the production process of the company. In order to
gain the competitive advantage in the current industry, it plays an essential role. It cannot be
denied that depending on the current emerging global economic situation, most of the Turkish
and Indian organizations have focused on adopting the just in time technique in the workplace.
If the effective operational management system can be implemented in the workplace, in that
case, the labor and others inventory costs can be reduced. This strategy can effectively develop
the strong relationship between the suppliers and buyers. Analyzing the articles, it has been
identified that although the Just in time management technique is beneficial for the management,
in order to implement the strategies, the effective employee engagement is required. If the
company can be able to develop the effective just in time technique, it can help to make the
smoother supply chain system.
