Reflection on learning experience
I want to discuss my learning experience in which I learned some employ-ability skills that are:
Description: While studying in university, I learned about importance of communication.
I developed this skill and learned the best way of communicating with others. I got to know that
oral communication skills plays a vital role as it can help us out in improving relationship and
also decrease situations of conflicts, caused by miscommunication. This skills developed by
classroom discussion and presentation (Denton, 2018).
Feelings: I feel that I am lacking behind in numeracy skills and I knew about this by
participating in seminars. I need to develop skill of knowing that how to make better use of
numbers and statistics.
Evaluation: By self evaluation, while learning in university, I got to know about problem
solving skill. I learned that how important it is to have problem solving skill. I believe that this
employ ability skill can make me able in working under pressure with effectiveness in any sector
of organization (Dhaliwal, Singh and Singh, 2018). I am quite good in team working as I got to
know that team working give better results than working individually.
Analysis: I believe that I need to more focus on ICT skills and need to learn effective
ways of making use of technologies. In this digital era, it is important to have technological skills
for getting better employment opportunities.
Conclusion: It has been concluded that transferable or employ-ability skills play a vital
role as it can help in getting job in desired field and profession.
