In this digital age, industry growth and increase business efficiency depends on the
logistics department of the company and supply chain management. IN NSW, there are different
logistics companies are doing their business, and they have a wide range of business

infrastructure by generating more revenue. In this report, Qube logistic is the concern logistic
company in which the report based on. So better import and export facilities, road transports,
warehousing, and distribution and contains parks all these facilities are provided by the company
(Qube.com.au 2018). The company was founded in 2010, and since then they extended their
business market and became the largest logistics company within four years. 45% of total
earnings extracted from their logistic and other than that rail and road transport management are
also covered by them. Port and Bulk have a giving of 50% that embarks on stevedoring. The
Strategic resources flake in 5% of total income and its machinery are calculated land property in

Features of Qube Logistics in NSW
There are some operational features of Qube logistics and integrate domestic logistic is
the main resource for their business expansion. The operation areas of Qube logistic are Port
Botany Freight terminal, Yennora Intermodal terminal, Port Botany Empty park and Macarthur
Intermodal terminal. This is the largest export and import logistics service that effectively works

customers and companies.

There are certain problems that Qube has faced during their business periods. Problems
are not only impacted by their business promotion rather it takes big challenges for the national
economy (Huang and Zhao 2012). The proper functioning system is the main concern for the
Qube logistic and for that reason, most of the networking arenas are affected. Issues like regional
planning and development, state transport strategies, regional transport planning, investment in
the infrastructure and national policies and strategies are the issues in which Qube concerns more
for the mitigation of challenges.

Multi-Modal Transport Access
In case of port activities, relocation, and modification of modal split of containers from
warehouse to port,the need of multi-modal transport is needed. There are some environmental
rules imposed by the government over trucks containers, and sometimes operation has been

government denied to use newly constructed roads for moving those containers as these create
some heavy traffic, later the rail authority gives that permission of 70% of containers can go in or
out through the rail networking system through some specific routes.

Botany. There is a 60-hectare unused area, and the area is going to develop for the intermodal
facility (Qube.com.au 2018). The state government announces to develop the area which is

can be defined into three fields like Inventory control, Production Planning and Distribution

of transportations for the fastest delivery from warehouse to customers. In this process, products
will be safe enough due to the transportation (Mangan and Lalwani 2016). Justintime is another
strategy that Qube may use for their better production deliverance. In this segment management
of regular shipments and profitability has been maintained by the company. In case of better

transportation management shipments are traveling in a bulk mode and this is the reason the
break transportation is not needed by the company, and with that innovation they save their
earning as well.

influences the expansion of business area for Qube so the better functional activity can be done.

management, network channeling, financial influence, tracking system, project consolidation all
these are the basic factor of business upgradation of Qube, and this process enhances their
logistic outcome and grade the economic scale in a high manner (Wang, Jie and Abareshi 2015).
Better cooperation with the management and optimized understanding with involving
management is the key issue of the logistics management. In NSW, networking problems and
