The purpose of this study is to shed light on different operational elements such as strategic
planning, information systems, implementing information technology and the system
development life cycle and those impact in the workplace. In this study the different elements
have been described by highlighting these significant impact on the workplace.
Discussion
Strategic planning is being considered as an important management activity that ensures the
engagement of stakeholders and employees towards achieving the goals and objectives of the
company (Kerzner, 2019). It is true that based on the strategic planning it becomes easier for the
organizational leaders to determine the mission and vision of the company so that based on the
strategic implementations it can be easier for the company to manage the proper utilization of
resources. In order to bring the growth in the workplace, it is very important for the organizations
to focus on successfully implementing the strategies for managing the business elements in
proper manner. Therefore, it cannot be denied that strategic planning plays a significant role in
case of dealing with the operational activities in which the engagement of individuals can be
ensured towards achieving the particular target. Analyzing the importance of information
technology it can be said that in the current business scenario, technology has become one of the
important contributors in the business operations. In order to bring both the tangible and
intangible benefits in the workplace, the IT helps the organization to satisfy the needs of the
customers. By continuing this, it can also be said that depending on the technological
infrastructure, the relationships, efficiency and culture in the workplace are being influenced
(Laudon & Laudon, 2016). Therefore, in order to bring the success in the workplace, Information

manner, in which the performance measurement in the company is being done in an effective
manner. By ensuring the continuous improvements, the information system helps to increase the
operational excellence. In case of gaining the higher profitability, it helps to push creativity and
innovation in the organizational infrastructure, which indirectly drives the operational activities
in the workplace. By continuing this it can also be said that depending on the information
system, decision making, data processing, data analysis and record maintenance related activities
in the workplace are being done in an effective manner.

tasks that influence the management operations in the workplace. It is an important software that
helps to maintain the development process through the eventual retirement of the completed
activities. Analyzing the impact of System development life cycle in the organization, it can be
said that in order to execution the individual complexity of different project, this tool ensures the
entire analysis and evaluation process of tasks (Abdelrazek et al., 2017). The system
development life cycle is being divided into six stages such as analysis, design, development and
testing, implementation, documentation, and evaluation. Mostly in case of project management,
