1. Statement of the goal and objectives of the project
1.1 Goal
After analyzing the case scenario it has been determined that, the goal of the company is
to purchase and install oven in Hillscape Resort in terms of products delivery details based on
budget, product research, its location and layout details. After determining budget details the
menu should be rewritten. There are certain approaches to be followed while preparing the
market launch. The goal of the report is to identify the KRAs and KPIs including the success
evaluation criteria. In addition to this, during project progress phase proper implementation and
monitoring phases are considered and identified in this project.
1.2 Objectives
 To conduct a product research to determine net budget, delivery details, location
and layout of the purchase oven install
 To rewrite the print menu
 To prepare a market launch plan
2. Explanation of internal and external analysis
The purpose of Hillscape Resort project is to purchase and install new kitchen appliances
to prepare and rewrite the food menus and print those. Before launching the final preparation
some promotional and marketing activities are required to be conducted by the project managers.
Both internal and external analyses are crucial for the successful implementation of the operation
of the project. The internal analysis result will incorporate some measures that may provide
information regarding project strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). On the

other hand, external analysis will help to examine the external environment of the Hillscape
Resort project. For identifying the values of analysis or rewriting the menus below mentioned
factors need to be analyzed.
2.1 Internal analysis
Cost position and opportunities: Internal analysis of cost positioning and opportunity
will help to determine industry market as well as potentials that may attract and engage new
business opportunities to Hillscape Resort project. Cost positioning involves business abilities
for acquiring and managing resources.
2.2 External analysis
Threats from potential entrant: Many similar companies are there that measures the
difficulties of new comers. There are many factors helps to determine the barriers to the entry
including brand loyalty, government regulations and production capacities. External analysis will
recognize the company competitions. Business plan and strategies requires confirming the
prevailing industry trends.
3. Other considerations
The innovation gadgets needs to reconstruct the kitchen include fruit and herb handlers,

5. The business enterprise that may require protection
The areas of business enterprise for Hillscape Resort kitchen renovation project that
requires protection include recruitment process, resource and service acquisition, confidential
information, brand identity and property protection.
Recruitment process: As soon as the project statement, goal and objectives are prepared
the project manager needs to recruit professional associates to it. Finance manager, resource

manager, HR manager, operational manager, security manager, head interior designer and
labours are the designation open for successful completion of the project. In this phase the vacant
positions are to be filled up with potential resources. It helps to source the candidates based on
their abilities and attitude that are required to achieve the organizational objectives.
Information confidentiality: The resources must be used for the project should keep
confidential and no information should be retrieved without permission or authorization. The
security manager of the company is responsible to store and secure all the information from the
external competitor companies. Firewall, DMZ, encryption etc are the security mechanisms
should be used by the project managers to maintain security of the company.
6. Explanation of the Gantt chart
The Gantt chart prepared for the project is comprises of 4 phases that are explained in the
below section:
1. In order to manage and administer the KRA and KPI of this operational plan the
project lead team in responsible.
2. Administration & Operation (WHS) and head of the marketing department are
professionally involved and consulted to this plan for internal and external to the resort
3. The internal and external communication strategies used to keep the stakeholders
informed are open communication and horizontal communication
4. The supporting document or resources needed to be developed for this project is new
standard operation procedure which is a collective set of steps complied by business organization

itself. In order to achieve quality output, efficiency and effectiveness preparation of a SOP is
very crucial.
5. For the Hillscape Resort kitchen design and interior of the project the legal aspects to
be considered include risk insurance, project contract, change control, contract interpretation ad
imposing interpretation.
7. Support and assistance
In order to accomplish the project plan within estimated time and budget, the coaching
and mentoring spectrum must be considered include capability spectrum, willingness spectrum,
time pressure spectrum and environment spectrum. Each of these phases needs to be considered
by the project managers to support and assist the project objectives and goals. Situational
leadership is the most crucial thing must be analyzed. Coaching is a short term activity used to
specify the project goal and implement the outcome with improved performance. On the other
hand, mentoring is a long term approach used to design and develop the project objective. Based
on the project purpose the project objectives and goals are to be prepared by the project manager.
Project manager is responsible to conduct the support and assisting activities.
8. Implementation and monitoring project progress
In order to implement and monitor the project progress towards the objectives and goals
of Hillscape Resort kitchen design and development project the other phases those are

requirements and consumer expectations should be clarified by the project manager to ensure the

Setting regular intervals: With update activities the project schedule must be monitored

multiple numbers of people enter information or make spreadsheet changes then accordingly
changes must be monitored.
Expectation adjustment: In this phase, expected changes must be incorporated and
implemented accordingly.

In order to prepare the project contingency plan the measures that should be considered

In order to gather feedback from both internal and external project stakeholder’s for this
specific project primary data collection approach will be used. Survey and interview are the best
ways to gather primary data from the stakeholders.

The two different report types to be provided to the Hillscape Resort kitchen renovation
project owners as well as stakeholders for evaluating the project progress towards achieving the
project objectives are project status report and project resource reports. The project status report
will provide up to date information to the project team members and its current status
accordingly. On the other hand, resource report will identify the details of the project resources
and the other resources associated to it.
