I have learned that coherent and divergent thinking is necessary for taking the effective
business decisions. The operation management is based on the logistic and supply chain
operations and it helps organization to strengthen its business process. If I want to make the
effective decisions then I first need to focus on collecting the data then only I could take
effective decision. Throughout this project, I gained better understanding in analyzing the
particular subject and making critical view point. It has widen my own understanding towards
perceiving others.

I have analyzed that business operation chain excellence programmes should go along with
the team development sprit on improving performance and efficiencies. It helps in learning
the complex process and developing critical viewpoints (Basarab, 2011). I have learned to
collect the required information from the employees and takes imperative decisions will help
in implementing the strategic decisions on the basis of the internal and external factors. If I
were to be a managers then the learning from the operation management and decision making
would help to make the strategic planning and analyzing the complex business issues in
effective manner.

The main learning from this business operation and decision making is that team building,
developing synergy and increased business outcomes are the three pillar for the sustainable
future. It helps me to learn the team building approach to accomplish set objectives. I have
learned to create synergy by avoiding possible issues. Employee oriented work culture and
avoiding possible business issues will create sustainable business practice (Reina, 2010). The
main thing which I have learned from the operation management and decision making is to
resolve the complex issues and developing effective business strategic ideas.

Business operation could be operated smoothly when the business decision taken are
effective. I have analyzed that business operation should be based on the employee work
culture. They should be allowed to participate in the business decision making as they are the
main key person who better knows the business process (Blais, 2011). I will also support the
Motivational theories, organizational behavior to strengthen business operations. By
participating in the group discussion and participation I have developed the divergent view
point on the particular subject matter. It allows me to make the coherent perception on the
identified problems.

I have analyzed that business operation should be based on the employee work culture. The
Internal control system should be managed to avoid the inherent issues in process. I have
learned that if the employees find any issues in the process then the same should be resolved
at the same time for avoiding possible issues (Basarab, 2011). The other aspects which should
have been included are forecasting, strategic planning and regression analysis of the gathered
huge data for the better understanding of the subject.
