INTRODUCTION
The word management refer to the decision makers that monitor the operating activities
of the business organisation. It is the co-ordination of different activities that combine together to
achieve the specific goal and target of company. Basic task that are performed by management is

of an organization. The major purpose for the operation team is to balance cost and revenue to
increase the profits as much as possible. For this assignment Burberry is chosen which is a
British Luxury fashion company that offer cosmetic, fashion and sunglasses products to the
customer. It was established in the year 1856 and launch new fabric as specifically for their
brand known as Gabardine. The management of company is family structured which operates
business under this CEO hold central power and then general manager. Further it is delegated
into the hands of supervisor and or seniors persons. So that they operate company activities and
accomplish their goals and target. Under this report various the roles and characteristics of a
leader and manager is discussed. Apart from this theories are describe by which manager and
leader face different situations. At last this report cover types of different approaches and
