I am writing this letter with the proposal for the post of Operations Manager. Through
research, I have gained an insight into the fact that Operations manager is in charge of the
overall functions in a business. Strategic planning is the most crucial aspect for the Manager
in terms of organizing the activities according to the priorities. I have also enriched my
knowledge regarding the extreme competitive pressures, which the Operations Manager has
to face while operating in different workplace setting. Unethical behaviour and system failure
are some of the major challenges, which the managers have to face in the operations. In such
situations, sustainable practices are the major solution for regaining the balance in the
operations and ensuring the wellbeing of the clients and customers.
I think that persuading post graduation in Business Administration would enhance my skills
on managerial perspective of executing the operations. As marketing is a subject of interest
for me, I would be curious to meet new people and learn new things. I would aim to make
practical application of my technical skills for controlling the operations. I think this
approach would be effective for you to achieve competitive advantage over the other brands.
I am also planning to use evaluation and reflection for assessing the appropriateness of my
behaviour in the given workplace settings. For this evaluation, I would consider the future
benefits on my personality and that of the target audience. The main focus would be on the
challenges, which I would face in the process of performing the responsibilities. This
assessment would help me to gain awareness about the skills, which I need to improve for
