management is concerned with planning, organizing, guiding, and controlling resources to attain
certain objectives. For the project the chosen organisation is Bentley, an auto-mobile company
which manufacture and market luxury cars. The company is founded in 1919 by W.O. Bentley.
This report is divided in two parts, Part 1 consists introduction of company and difference
of operation vs operations management. It reviews implementation of operations management
principles in an organisation and continuous improvement with Lean principles. Whereas in Part
2, the overview of case study, explanation of PLC at every stage and examine project
methodologies. Lastly it evaluates the effectiveness of PLC in application to project by using
appropriate concepts and theories.
