With the help of this letter, I am applying for a master’s program in Operations Research and
Business analytics offered at X university. I am serving a microfinance bank since 2012.
Currently, I hold the position of branch manager in the organization. I am willing to expand
my esteemed knowledge in the context of business analytics and operations research. As a
responsibility to my job, I have to deal with a vast number of people regularly. I have to deal
with complicated relationships in management and economic processes periodically.
Therefore, optimizing the link is a critical and challenging task to conduct. Financial
management and risk management are the most important responsibilities that I have to
follow regularly. I must remain updated in essential aspects of my job. These intangible needs
have encouraged me to acquire further knowledge through this program.
Professional careers in the public domain are extremely hectic as it is associated with
multiple responsibilities. It is imperative to acquire knowledge and to be accustomed to the
methods and skills necessary for improving my capacity to serve the industry. To build a
successful career, I need a profound knowledge of application in different areas such as
operations, risk management, logistics, financial management, and supply chain management.
It is also essential to come up with additional problem-solving methods and decision-making
abilities.
Upon completing my BSc in Business Administration, I was able to gain some knowledge
regarding operations research. I have always fascinated about managing people within an
esteemed organization. I was always keen on implementing theoretical knowledge of
management in the working world. My interest in this subject increased even more during
my HND. I had three modules in Operations research, and I was able to score decent grades
in the modules. I am always excited to learn about different aspects of management, such as
business administration and operations research. Business Analytics is an area where I can
improve my skills even more and gain all the required to uplift my career.

I have always dreamt about doing my higher education from X country because different
universities in this domain offer multiple professional programs. However, I have researched
a lot about universities and came to know that X University is the best place where I can
improve my skills and knowledge. It will help me to commence one more step towards a
successful career. I have found out that this program perfectly fits in all the areas of my
requirement. Doing my master in a divergent culture will help me out in exchanging my
knowledge and improve myself as a student and as a human being. I am very sure of the fact
that the skills and knowledge learned from my experience in both personal and professional
grounds, would make me a distinct and valuable addition to the Masters of operations
