had to refer to another member of staff what system is in place?
I f I was to answer a question about oral health that I am unable to answer, I will try to get
knowledge about it in order to avoid such humiliating condition. I will put my efforts to improve the
knowledge and skill set that will help in carrying the operational and medical knowledge about the
type of operations that are been carried out at the workplace. Once I have get known to the answer
of a question related to Oral health, I would also try to contact the person who asked the question to
tell him/her about the answers. Besides this, I will also see through getting a help from my superior
authority from the staff that will lead me to get the proper idea about the operations and answers.
Consulting the senior personnel or a knowledgeable person will help in getting the right answer of
the question about the oral health.

Describe methods of how oral health care can be planned and delivered. Think about factors that
contribute to health and illness such as social factors, religious/cultural/ethical, environmental and
psychological.
Various measures can be undertaken within the organisation that will help in effective
controlling of oral diseases that will lead the organisation to provide suitable oral health measures
that will help in suitable planning and delivering of the health care measures are:
 Increase the use of Fluoride: The effective usage of Fluoride as the medicine and fluorinated
water will help in improving the overall oral health and this will lead the rise in improving
oral health.
 Improving diet and reduction of sugar in food: Sugar in food can lead to tooth decay and
loosening of gums. Hence, the health care organisations and individuals are required to look
after the consumption of sugar. Also sugar free medication can be utilized.
 Increasing and encouraging the health care awareness: People can be encouraged and
motivated to follow the oral health practices. The organisations like NHS will see through
easy and effective accessibility of oral health care.

 Reducing the use of smoking and alcohol: Patients with oral diseases are required to look
after the reduction in intake of alcohol and practicing smoking. These two factors are major
reason for the oral diseases like bad breath and oral cancer.
 Reducing dental injuries: playing games like rugby, boxing and other contact games may
lead to moth injury. Hence proper mouth shield should be used by players to reduce oral
injury.

polls that will help in improving the overall operations and thus will lead the health and social care

· UK and international oral health trends: The health and social care service provider firms like
NHS, Oxfam etc will look after the suitable delivery of oral health care measures that are undertaken
within the firm. Besides this, carrying out suitable planning of oral health care measures will lead the
organisation or an individual to have a high level of awareness about oral health.
· determinants of health: The determinants of health conditions are usually varying from society
to society and is based on the social, cultural and other demographical functions that will help in
proper assessment of the factors that lead to healthy living and well being.

will provide suitable guidance that can be followed for success of these purpose.

that will lead the organisation in most effective and significant manner. Besides this, personal level
initiations can be taken to maintain OH in elderly people.

Caries: Care takers can be informed with the medical history and other details about the care needs
to be met.
CQC: Care Quality control is the governing boy that looks after the proper planning of the health and
social care measures which are been carried out by a health care organisation.
DofH: Department of health will look after the proper planning of the health care measures that are

NICE: stands for national institute for health care, it carries out the medicine and research process t
