When planning the project execution, some issues need to be addressed based on the

of the activities that were planned to be executed at that specific time shall have to be postponed
to the future date. The total time that were allocated was 2 years (Burke, 2013). The projected
time included the time that shall be taken by authorities to permit as well as give the required
documents for the project to continue. To be able to understand what would have gone wrong, let
us have a schedule that shall include the cost as well as the activities to be performed during the

budget of about five hundred thousand dollars, and then realizing the project shall cost six
hundred thousand dollars, it means the estimation of resources was not done well.
The management team of the project has a role to play to make sure that the deadline
remains met. This shall mean the straining of the available resources to facilitate the completion
of the project (Newton, 2016). Having a contract of 2 years means the client wants the project to
be done within the 2 years. Failure to having this work finished within the 2 years, the client
shall call it a breach of contract. The time that was assigned to all the activities has to be added.
The project management team shall have to find better methods to help them bring together all
the activities to attain the time specified (Reiss, 2013). For instance, they should undertake at the

same time the construction of the garage and the house to help them save time. This will also
reduce the actual cost of construction.
Reflection on My Learning
There remains the need for a manager to consult with the members of the team to make
sure what they plan is real and achievable. Project management requires a lot of attention to
ensure that time, as well as resources allocated, are accurate and real. An individual may
generate a project plan to achieve within the set time, but he/she may fail terribly because of the
lack of a proper plan as well as the budget. Therefore, the time allocated and budget remain two
essential factors that one ought to be keen on when dealing with any project plan.
