Introduction
The key objective of this report is to create Professional Development Agenda (PDA) which can
be applied in the organisational development. The Professional Development Agenda (PDA) is
produced as the foundation for the critical reflection on the organisational development theory.
Basically, the report constructs the plan for developing the personal, team and organisational
effectiveness so that own team, individual and team strengths can be identified in an effective
manner. In addition to this, the report also provides a weekly reflective journal on the basis of
weekly learning. I have completed the Gallup Clifton Strength assessment so that I can produce a
Professional Development Agenda (PDA) in a proper manner. In addition to this, I have also
used Team Strength Grid so that I can understand my team's collective talent in a proper manner.

Task A- Professional Development Agenda
This part of the report includes the development of Professional Development Agenda (PDA) by
identifying own strengths for the development. In this manner, I have completed the Gallup
Clifton Strength assessment so that I can produce a Professional Development Agenda (PDA) in
a proper manner. In addition to this, I have also used Team Strength Grid so that I can
understand my team's collective talent, opportunities and strengths. By using this framework and
its components, i.e. influencing, executing relationship building and strategic thinking, I am able
to identify how my team members and I contribute and collaborate with the overall success of
the team.
Strengths from Gallup Clifton Strength assessment
In the context of Gallup strengths and assessment test, I can say that the identification of
personal strengths and capabilities enhances the efficiency and chances to achieve the goals and
objectives at individual and team level. Own strengths are described in this framework so that I
can identify the strength of my team. In Clifton Strength assessment, there are basically 34
themes of the assessment of talent which is helpful in identifying the outstanding performance of
individuals. It is the assumption that the greater presence of the specific theme of talent within an
individual, the more likely that individual is to exhibit those talents in daily life (Scoria et al.,
2017). Based on the Clifton Strength assessment, I have identified the five most dominant
themes of talent ranked in the order revealed by my responses. Those dominant themes identified
in me are discussed below:
Harmony
Based on the assessment, I have identified the talents of harmony. I look for the areas of
agreement. In my view, there is little to be achieved from conflict and friction, so I always seek
to hold them to the minimum. In addition to this, when I see people around me having different
viewpoints, then I try to find out the common ground. Further, I also observed that harmony is

the demands of the moment in an effective manner. Basically, I analysed that I do not resent
sudden request or unforeseen detours. I am a flexible person who can remain beneficial when the
requests of work are pulling me in the wide range. Based on the relationship building, I am able
to keep a record of each and every activity to achieve the team goals and objectives. In addition
to this, I have maintained trust between other team members and me for the long term as the trust
cannot be developed overnight.
Woo
Woo basically represents prevailing upon others. I observed that I appreciate the test of meeting
new individuals and motivating them to like me. Outsiders are seldom scary to me.
Unexpectedly, outsiders can be stimulating. In addition to this, I have analysed that I need to
become familiar with their names, make inquiries, and discover some region of basic intrigue so
that I can strike up a discussion and assemble kinship. Further, I analysed that A few people

key aspects on which on which the strengths of the team members are analysed. Those aspects
are influencing, relationship building, and strategic thinking.

This task is a reflective statement which provides information about what students have learned
during lectures so as to improve weak areas and achieve career goals. Following is a given brief
understanding of what I have learned in different classes.
In class 1, I get to know about various aspects of organizational development which signifies
that nowadays organizations are tending to improve their effectiveness with an aim to achieve
their desired goals and objectives. I learned that organizational development highly affects the
decision-making process of the company, thus to boost up efficient of workplace it is essential
for managers to formulate their company in a well-structured manner. As a student, I need to
analyse the process which helps companies to respond positively towards the external market; in
this relation, this class aids to understand different phases of organizational development.
Furthermore, I also go through with the role of change management in business evolution;
changes bring various opportunities for a company in terms of exploring its business areas and
increase market presence as well so that it is essential for managers always to improve the
process of organizational development. This study also highlights that principles of OD improve
quality and efficiencies of products and services offered by business organizations.

organizational development as it assists supervisors to grab better future opportunities. To
understand this concept, my teacher gave us an example –if project managers implement new
technologies in production processes, then it results in reducing errors or defects as well as
production time and costs. Henceforth, it is essential for managers to apply the concept of
organizational development, as I want to be an effective manager in future so that I have to focus
on learning different processes or aspects of organizational development that may contribute in
sustaining long-run organizational growth and success in the target market.
