Risk Register
The organic grocery store will use a risk register for the purposes of documenting
risks as well as the actions on how to manage every risk. Therefore, the risk register will be a
significant tool to the successful risk management of the organic grocery store since it will
allow for the identification of the risks related to the venture. The risk register allow the
grocery an opportunity to know on the appropriate actions to be undertaken in response to the
risk if any arise. Indeed, the risk register is a significant input used in developing a correct
response plan for the grocery store as it aids the store in monitoring and controlling
opportunities and threats faced by the business.
Project Schedule
The organic grocery store will uses the project schedule as an instrument to and
communicates its stakeholders the type of service that it will be offering. Indeed, it indicates
the resources that are to be performed as well as the tasks and the timeframe required for each
task to be undertaken. Accordingly, the project schedule reflects all the functions related to
the grocery. Subsequently, minus a complete schedule, the project manager cannot be in a
better position to effectively communicate to the team about the resources and costs required
to deliver the project. Therefore, in the case of organic grocery store project the project
schedule help to allocate time and resources to each task accordingly hence ensuring there is
an equilibrium sharing of resources (Harrison, & Lock, 2017). Scheduling of the grocery
tasks helps to make sure there is no conflict between tasks because of the even distribution of
time as well as resources. Therefore, to ensure equal sharing of resources the project manager
uses online project management software in tracking project schedules, budget, resources and
related project resource in actual time. The organic grocery schedule begin with a work

breakdown structure (WBS) which is a tiered reflection of the entire tasks within the project
based on deliverables.

Stakeholder play a major role towards the operation of a business and so is for the
organic grocery store. Therefore, stakeholders provide vital information utilised to evaluate
the way the grocery store will address different operations. Stakeholder analysis is a
significant part of stakeholder management as it allows to highlight their different roles and
responsibilities of stakeholders (Larson, & Gray, 2015). As a result, organic grocery store
employ stakeholder analysis mainly during the feasibility and planning phases of the project
to evaluate the attitude of the stakeholders in relation to the possible changes. Therefore
stakeholder analysis will play a significant role to the organic grocery store in the allocation
stakeholders’ roles and responsibility to ensure no conflict arises by providing effective
communication amongst stakeholders.

The organic grocery utilise the requirements management plan since it is a vital tool

(Kerzner, & Kerzner, 2017). Therefore, the organic grocery store uses the requirement

its consumers as well as eternal and internal stakeholders.
Lessons Learnt from the organic grocery store project
I learnt that for a successful project it should include a risk register, project schedule,
stakeholder analysis, quality management plan, and requirements management plan. Some of
the things that unfolded well during the establishing of organic grocery in Virginia include
execution of the project plan, quality management plan, stakeholders’ analysis and
requirements. However, there some activities which experienced hitches here and there such
as the identification of project risks; I was not able to exhaust all the risks associated with the
project. In my view project management is course that is not only relevant to project
managers but it can also be applied in the daily life such as in time management.
