INTRODUCTION
Organisational behaviour is termed as the way in which employees of the organisation
interact with each other in order to produce the desired productivity of the company. It can be
basically promotes better working environment that motivates the efforts of the employees and
result in efficient and effective productivity. This report is based on the Organisational behaviour
of the employees within 1Spatial,Plc company and this organisation deals with software
production. This study will provide cultural, political and power influence of the organisation
that impacts on the overall performance of the company. The report will also create an
understanding about the motivation of individual and team in order to achieve main objectives of
the firm. The study will also in improving the understanding about effective cooperation of all
the employees within the organisation. This research will also help in application of various
concepts and philosophies in 1Spatial,plc.

P1 Analysing cultural, political and power influence that effects individual and team behaviour
in order to improve performance
Organisation culture can be termed as set of values, ethics, policies and procedures that is
adopted in an organisation in order to perform the effective operational activities within the
1Spatial,plc. Being the HR manager of the company, one have to improve working procedure
and policies within organisation in order to improve individual and group performance of the
company (Joshi, 2016). 1Spatial,plc is an leading producer company of computer software which
facilitates large opportunities to improve the data management of the organisation and worldwide
communication of company with customers. This organisation generates $10M to$20M turnover.
Culture influence: It is referred as the concept that help in promoting the powerful working
environment for employees. Human resource managers in 1Spatial,plc are responsible for
promoting the cultural influence within the environment of the company as it helps in motivating
the workforce and hence improved the productivity of the organisation. Assembling effective
employees in company help in generating effective team of the 1Spatial,plc so this can be termed
as the collective values and behaviour that directly impacts on the working situations of the
employees within company. It can be considered as indicator that might help managers in
improving the performance of the company. Positive impacts of culture may be defined as
healthy working environment that help employees in effective productivity.

encourage innovations and adaptability that supports high performance in organisation. So
mangers have to constantly promote positive working culture that ensures the healthy interaction
between employees and hence encourage them in order to improve the performance of the
workers. Handy's culture have described various cultures in an organisation. There are four types
of cultural influence that effects the organisational environment of OB such influences can be
demonstrated below:
Power: This lay emphasis on the person who has the higher authority can use the power in to
take the decision regarding the employees. It may motivate or demotivate an employee. If the
person using the power in a fair way so it cannot effect the behaviour of the employees then it
leads to the satisfaction among workforce. If the person taking wrong advantage of using power
then it may leads to dissatisfied workforce and it may minimises the productivity of the
1Spatial,plc.
Task: This mainly focus on tasks which aimed at forming an effective team. In an organisation
when teams are formed in order to address a specific problem then it can be considered as task
culture. It may also effect negatively and positively. Team leader have to identify the strengths
and weakness of the members for the assignment of accurate tasks. This leads to an effective
team.
Role: This is determined by the position of the person in structure of the 1Spatial,plc. In short
organisation who follows role culture tends to produce bureaucratic culture within working
