INTRODUCTION
Organisational Behaviour is the study of how people interact with each other in the
business organisation. Its principles are applied primarily in how to make business operate more
efficiently. The main goal of organizational behaviour is to strengthen the theory and developing
a better conceptualization of organizational life . The study examines the human behaviour in the
work environment and to regulate its impact on job structure, communication, performance ,
motivation, leadership etc. The behaviour of the employees is affected by the people
surroundings as well as the workplace of the organisation. LG Electronics is the South Korean
multinational electronic company which is headquartered in Seoul, south Korea. It deals in
serving electronics products(Isiaka, Adeoti and Aliyu, 2019). This report will include the what
makes an effective team, concept of philosophies and then critically evaluation of relevance of
team development.
P3 Explain what makes an effective team opposed to ineffective team?
EFFECTIVE TEAM- Any group of people whose individual effort are resulted in the
outcome that is greater than the sum of individual efforts is called as team work. These are the
foundation of every successful organisations an effective team always promote an open
communication in the workplace(Volgger and Huang, 2019).
Tuck man model- This model includes five stages in a group development . It starts from the
first time the team is made to the completion of the task of the team .
Forming- This is the first stage where the team is formed and every member agrees
upon the goals and objectives.
Storming- This is the second stage where the members of the team start to open up and
trust is built between the team members.
Norming- The team members start to realise the importance of the team and start
accepting everyone quirks for the sake of the group(Chin and Md Yusoff, 2019).
Performing- At this stage the team members have built enough trust and they work
upon the desired goals and objectives and they are motivated to work together.
Adjourning- Here at this stage the task is over then it is evaluated and the plans are made
if any changes required and the individual performance is acknowledged.

the satisfaction, motivation, and performance of their employees. The job of the leader is to
guide its followers to choose the best path to achieve the goals of the business organisation.
This suggests the various styles such as(Dürr, 2019).
Directive- A directive leader lets its subordinates give a correct direction and the goal of
the organisation. LG electronics can use this style where it needs to direct its employees
in the situation if employees have not clear goals.

then the employees behaviour can impact in the negative way as they might feel the leader is
