OB Case Study: Analysis of Issues and Recommendations - Thames Valley

This project analyzes the Thames Valley Building Society case study, focusing on three key organisational behaviour (OB) issues: motivation, training and development, and teamwork. The analysis begins with an introduction to the case, followed by an identification of the problems within the company. The student then applies relevant OB theories, such as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Information Processing Theory, and Tuckman's model of team stages, to each issue, providing a theoretical framework for understanding the problems. For each issue, the student provides specific recommendations for action, such as improving working conditions, implementing training programs, and fostering teamwork. The project concludes with a list of references to support the analysis and recommendations. The assignment demonstrates an understanding of OB principles and the ability to apply them to a real-world case study.
