INTRODUCTION
Organisational behaviour plays a very crucial role in the over all functioning of an
organisation. This help in getting the better productivity and improve their revenue generation.
Besides this, it helps in better management of various employees and have a better productivity
and work environment (Bolman and Deal, 2017). This also helps in better management of
various resources which will lead to effective execution of a wide variety of operations. For the
report, we have taken J & J Furnishings Limited as the business organisation. It is an Australian
firm, working in furniture building and selling business. This report will showcase the effective
measures towards the problems that are been faced by the cited organisation to launch a new
project that are been designed to meet the targeted goals set up by firm.
Main body
1) Why to choose a leadership style as the describes over the other while managing the
highlighted team.
The J & J Furnishing Limited is one of the major organisation in UK which help in better
handling of the large scale furnishing operations in the company. The company uses the
democratic leadership style which involve the founders of company, Jack and Jessica and the
leaders and managers of the different operational departments of the organisation. This
leadership style will help in better handling of the different operations which will help in the
effective management of wide variety of operations of cited firm to gain better productivity.
The democratic approach will help in leading the better communication process among
the different departments of business organisation. Other than this, it will help in better decision
making process and facilitate the effective growth and development of the firm (Kinicki and
et.al., 2014). Also, the interaction and involvement of the employee's of the different operational
units or departments of the company will lead to the significant rise in adoption of better work
processes and techniques. Other than this, Democratic style will help in reduction of conflicts
and issues in company.
2) Describe the tools and techniques discussed in the resources to be used by a project team.
As the Project manager at J & J Furnishing Limited, I will look after the adoption and
usage of various tools and techniques to gain the better productivity and effective growth by the
fulfilment of the various goals set up by the company. To fulfil the goals of appropriate CSR by
the company, the organisation can use the approach of using the environment friendly products

and other alternatives for manufacturing of furnitures ad other products. It will be cost effective
and will help the firm to handle its production process effectively.
Other than this, with the advancement of the technology, J & J Furnishing Limited will
look after the better management of wide variety of technical tools and techniques involving the
better management of ordering, delivering and billing operations of the company. This approach
will help the company to make the business operations more time saving and effective. It will
help in delivering the products according to the needs and demands of the customer and
improves company's portfolio (Binder, 2016).
3) Implementation of Shenoy power to
a) Influence project team
For this purpose the effective use of the Reward power will be used by the customer. This
will help in the better handling of the different operations of company. The better appraisal or
rewarding will help in gaining the effective idea about the efficiency of the company and will
motivate the employee's to work with more determination and dedication.
b) Motivate the team members to work in collaboration
The Reward power will also create a better and healthy competition which will help in
effective rise in the productivity, by allowing the employee's to work with each other in
coordination to gain a better productivity and work together to achieve the goals simultaneously.
This will also improve inter departmental relationship in the organisation.
c) Influence on project success
The rise in the confidence level and collaboration within the teams of the various
departments of the company will help in the better rise in the productivity and gain the suitable
rise in the production capacity of the cited firm. This will also help in gaining a better customer
satisfaction level and improve the revenue generation of business organisation (Luthans, Luthans
and Luthans, 2015).

As the Project manager or PM at J & J Furnishing Limited, I have taken this approaches
to gain the better productivity and profitability for the cited business organisation. The approach
of adopting and implementing the democratic leadership style will help in having the suitable
rise in the production capacity of the company by encouraging the better decision making and

As a Project Manager, I will take in consideration the wide variety of the various
measures that will help in the better handling of the different operations at the cited firm. Some
major steps that will be taken by me are:
I will try to reduce the occurrence of any sort of conflict that can impact the overall
production and profitability of the company. This will be done by developing better
understanding among the employee's.
I will look after the better technological approaches which will help in productions and
delivery of the product effectively (Knies and Leisink, 2014.).
CONCLUSION
Thus, it can be concluded that the company needs better management of operations and
project to gain the high level of productivity. Other than this, The report showcased the effective
measures towards the problems that are been faced by the cited organisation to launch a new
project that are been designed to meet the targeted goals set up by firm. Besides this, the various
