INTRODUCTION
Organisational structure is designed in respect of maintain the organisational culture and this
can be done in respect of adapting values, norms and other guidance which is imposed by the
owner to their superiors. Culture determines the integrity of the people working in the
organisation and thus it creates large impact upon day to day working. Organisational structure
varies on managing the overall activity of the people and also this can be undertaken in respect
of carrying the vertical structure to manage the working criteria of employees. Present report is
based upon Sainsbury company which was founded by John James Sainsbury in 1869. The
business is carried by around 1,86,900 employees and also they are dealing the business online
and building large customer base. This report will include the relationship between motivation,
organisational behaviour, performance and reflection of business.

P5 Concept of organisational behaviour
Organisational behaviour determines the behaviour of employees reflected at the time of
attaining such task., as the behaviour of employees are fluctuated in respect of the task which
they imposed to be accomplished within the stipulated time. Thus in such manner, organisational
behaviour identifies the behaviour of employees working in the organisation (Roberts, 2018). In
respect of examining the behaviour of employees working in Sainsbury they depend upon
bringing new and innovative ideas at work placed or target is regarding accomplishing the
particular task.
In organisational behaviour there are four important elements which is to be examined
such as
People: It depends upon the culture of the people as every person belongs to different class or
background and also their learning and capability is also different. Thus behaviour of
organisation is determined through this perspective (Marchington, 2015).
Structure: In this the behaviour is examined in respect of sharing views and ideas with
superiors and in return their ideas and thoughts are appreciated and undertaken to bring
any changes in company working (Laforet, 2016).
Technology: In this the adequate resources are provided to the employees so that they can
accomplish the task easily. But it also affects the behaviour of employees in respect of
not having adequate Knowledge regarding attaining such task.

Environment: In this, the behaviour of organisation is examined in respect of undertaking
various internal and external factors which affecting the working of the company
(Fullwood and Rowley, 2017).
P6 Relationship between motivation, organisational behaviour and impact of performance on
work place
In respect of undertaking the aspects related to motivation, it is done in respect of
interacting with employees and motivating them to accomplish the task within the stipulated
time. Thus, through the process of motivation, Sainsbury mainly adapts the Maslow theories of
motivation in which they satisfy the needs of the employees working at work place
(Bendermacher and et.al., 2017). This results in causing positive impact upon the employees
working. In respect of organisational behaviours motivation helps in increased the productivity
of the employees by determining the usefulness of working as team and reducing risk by dealing
in any such matters (Chapleo, 2015). The impact of this aspects is arising in respect of increasing
the productivity of the employees and also it results in increasing the reputation and good will of
the business.

The advantages of applying the Maslow theory of motivation in Sainsbury is relating to
determining the needs of people and also it can be satisfied easily. As the needs of the people is
easy to understand and thus it resulting in attracting the employees towards the business in better
way. This theory is helpful in all field and department in which the employees are engaged with
or undertaking the business (Scott and et.al., 2018). The disadvantages of choosing this theory is
relating to be not beneficial in case of having person things the same things in respect of the
person thinking. As every person had the different thoughts and views to live their life and also
their needs are also different.

In respect of undertaking the matters related to management approaches it is determined
as maintaining the human relation with each other in respect of any public service example
which is relating to police, they carry the human relations with their team so that they can guide
and motivate them to take right decisions. Through these aspects they can fulfil the Maslow
theory of motivation be satisfying their basic needs and also manage the behaviour at work place
in better way.

CONCLUSION
From the above study, the report concludes that organisation behaviour and culture is
necessary at work place so that they can manage the overall working of the employees in
business. In respect of Sainsbury they are engaged with large number of employees carrying the
business. Thus in such manner they deal in various aspects which helps in motivating them to
engage in business activities.
