ORGANIZATION CULTURE 1
Organization culture and political behaviour
I believe that most of the organizations are dependent on their excellent performers for
growth and development. But when these performer or employees leave the organization then
organizations must struggle in their performance which does not happen because organization
has liked their culture with the organization behaviour. In addition to this, most of the cases in
which organization has to introduce some changes are linked with financial benefits,
compensation benefits and because of business environment (Naranjo-Valencia, Jiménez-
Jiménez & Sanz-Valle, 2016). I believe that organization is capable enough to handle these
situations but when it comes to organization culture it is not easy for any organization to bring
changes. As organization culture is connected with the organization behaviour, any small change
has the capability to disturb the whole organization structure. As per my knowledge organization
culture is basically a set of values, ethics and behaviour that maintain a health work environment
with the help of trust and creativity. It also helps the leaders to have a clear vision about their
objective which helps them to connect with all individuals of the organization.
I believe that organization cultural is a system in which we believe, set up our rewards,
our working climate and other professional values which are essential to offer us necessary
directions (Warrick, 2017). I also believe that many organization perceived organization culture
differently and therefore act in different way to either enhance it or improve it so that their
organization behaviour can be maintain a positive environment. As per the organization
behaviour theories a healthy environment can be maintained only if the attitude and personality
of the individuals reflection in the positive direction which get automatically reflected in their
behaviour which is the need of every organization.
I believe that due to heavy competition, sustainability of every organization has become
very difficult and in this situation it is the strategies of the organization which offer them the
necessary competition over other organization in order to remain sustainable in the competitive
business environment (Shortall, 2016). Organization is significantly dependent on the strategies
in order to capture their target audience in order to form a strong customer base which is the
basic need of every organization today. But I also believe that strategy formation is good thing
but its right implementation in the organization form the key indicator which identifies whether
strategy is going to be positive or negative because more than half of the organization fails in
implementing correct strategy for their improvement because their organization culture did not
permit them to implement the strategy in the right form (Hartnell et al., 2016). Therefore I
believe that organization culture plays a very important in the promotion or demotion of the
strategy in the organization because it identifies the internal strength of the organization and
links them with capability of implement the particular strategy in the organization.
I also believe that organization culture offer the individual working in the organization a
sense of belonging, involvement in the business decision and over all commitment related to the
organization needs. In addition to this I believe that organization culture helps the management
to create their unique image in the market by offering them opportunity to make use of correct
decision making that can offer benefit to both organization as well as employee in terms of
development and growth (Prowle, Kalar & Barrow, 2016). Organization culture promotes

healthy relation, balance between professional and personal life, develop trust within the
employees which automatically reduces the employee turnover ratio within the organization and
keeps the talent of the organization for long time.
Current I believe that organization is in great need of skills which are connected with the
conflict motive and is not totally dependent on power based system. Political behaviour is all
about maintain a cooperative work environment in which relationship is taken care with
achieving objectives. I believe that in most of the cases political behaviour is always portrayed as
negative aspect as well as in bad context. In fact political behaviour in organization helps in
identifying the potential aspects which can bring negative impact on the overall performance of
the organization (Leftwich, & Leftwich, 2015). I also believe that it is not worth for individual to
keep them engaged with such kind of activities because these are time consuming activities and
offer very less benefit to the individual in terms of personal gain. According to HR magazine it
has been found that around 20% of the executives spend their time in such activities in order to
maintain power base system. It becomes very difficult for individual to work effectively in the
organization without having knowledge about political behaviour in the organization. In fact they
have to face influence of power in their every professional journey whether on receiving side or
giving side.
