activities under organization work in a concrete structure. People induce the culture in an
organization in order to guide the operations. Every organization has distinct policies, objectives,
rules and regulations, work flow, etc. An example for the non-business organization is clubs or
sports team.
PURPOSE OF AN ORGANIZATION
The purpose of an organization is to make a long- term relationship with stakeholders,
employees, suppliers, etc. the purpose of an organization is to retain its employees by providing
rewards and incentives to them. The main purpose of an organization is to generate profit. But
the non- business organizations generate profit for the welfare of the society.

employees and succeed in making a long term relationship with the shareholders, employees,
customers, suppliers, etc. and generate profit in order to grow and survive and in the case of non-
business organization, profit is being generated for the welfare of the society. It shows that
organization has fulfilled its purpose.
Similarly, if an organization doesn't fulfill its vision and mission statement, and the employees
don't get satisfied and they start leaving the organization, and the organization is not able to
retain them and build a good relation with shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers, etc.
and also not able to generate profit in order to survive or for the welfare of the society then it is
said that organization is not fulfilling its purpose.
