PRESENTATION AND REPORT

INTRODUCTION
 Types of an organization refers to its legal status which consists various
aspects such as formation, control, ownership etc. into consideration.
 The presentation will be discussing types and purposes of organization where
different forms such as public, private, voluntary, etc. are to be evaluated.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF
ORGANIZATIONS
Different between profit, non-profit and non government organization-
 Profit organization are such entities whose main aim is to generate profit by
carrying out organizational activities.
 At the same time non-profit organizations are such entities whose main
concern is not profit.
 Non government organization are all those entities where government is not
having any share in term of ownership and entire power lies in the jurisdiction
of some private power.

LEGAL STRUCTURES-
 There are multiple types of legal structures too. Such as sole traders,
partnership, private limited companies, limited companies, non-profit-making
company etc.
 Sole traders is one of the easiest form, there is less requirement of fulfilling
legal requirements here, a person may start its operations with limited legal
onus.
 Partnership is the form of legal entity which is having need to be registered,
in UK Partnership act 1890 is liable for such registration.

SIZE AND SCOPE OF ORGANIZATION
 The all the entities are having their different aims to get operated in the market
so their size also gets varies.
 The size of sole proprietorship is generally seen smaller in term of its market
share and profit share too.
 At the same time Partnership firms are relatively bigger due to contribution
of many stakeholders.

VARIOUS FUNCTIONS WITHIN AN
ORGANIZATION
 HRM is one of the most essential function. Running a hotel is not possible
without a high number of employees.
 Finance, which is very significant aspect. Hotels get operated with intensive
amount of investment, so managing this function is very essential for the
entity.
 Marketing, over the time it has been experienced that how good you are no
matter, there is need to propose the idea to others.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
 Bureaucratic form of business structure refers to the structures where entity
follows a well-structured chain to manage their internal and external functions.
 Post-bureaucratic structure stands for the structure where a horizontal
structure is being practised. In such form of structure there is not well
maintained hierarchy.
 Parent- In this structure an organization make other entities its subsidiaries
and keep its control on them.

 Strategic business units- this is a form of division in a large sized company.
Such units are being fabricated for specific purpose.
 Matrix is one of the most general form of business structure, it is existing in
many organizations. Here more than tow or two types of structures are being
followed by the entity in order to operate the functions of business.

CONCLUSION
 Form the presentation above it can be concluded that all different types or
forms of organization are having their different purposes and notion.
 Here a range of different forms of organization and their size, scope was
articulated.
 At the end, relationship between organizational functions and their link with
organizational objectives and structure had been deciphered.
