Introduction
The following report is based on the discussion of the Mintzberg Managerial Roles
that is basically based on a practical manner. The managerial role and the application of the
following theory to fulfil the managerial role has been provided in a proper and efficient
manner in order to get an idea of the organizational perspective (Altamony & Gharaibeh,
2017). The following report will help the readers understand the basics of the powerful
management tool for a manager. The powerful tool and its application can thus be said to be
one of the most important tolls of the business organization.
Mintzberg Managerial Roles
The organizational design and the organizational structures forms an important part in the
proper and effective management of the business organization. The following theory
distinguishes the ten key managerial roles that the managers can execute and fulfil in a proper
manner (Korica, Nicolini & Johnson, 2017). These roles and theory are executed and
subsequently divided into three different categories which includes the likes of the
interpersonal category, informational category and that of the decisional category. The
different characteristics of the following theory includes the likes of the;
1. Managers processes open ended workloads
2. The managers prefer verbal communication
3. Managers like being involved in preparatory decisions
Department
At present I work as a manager in the Family Development Foundation of UAE. As a
manager I am tasked with some of the most important works of the organization. This
consists of the proper controlling of the employees, managing and operating them in a proper
and efficient manner and also listen and effectively solve all the issues that comes during my

tenure as a manager. The most important element that is considered by me during my
managerial term is that of the;
1. Interpersonal contact
2. Processing of Information
3. Decision making process
4. Proper control
Application
The application process of the managerial elements must be conducted in a proper and
appropriate business manner. The management of the elements in an efficient and
constructive manner is the only way to ensure success.
1. Interpersonal Contact- The contact in between the manager and the team is essential
for the business. The interpersonal contact in between me and my subordinate and
seniors is highly essential for the success of the business operations and the
behaviours of the employees.
2. Processing of Information- The information must be processed and conveyed by the
manager to all the different people of the business organization. The proper convey of
the business information will ensure business success.
3. Decision making process- The decision making process is another important process
to ensure success of the business in a proper and effective manner.
4. Proper control- The proper control of the business means control of the employees in
a proper and efficient manner.
