The objective of the journal article lies in investigating the diverse elements that remains

diversity at the workplace in the hotel industry of Malaysia. The article put forward a discussion

influencing the satisfaction of the employees. The journal article draws a relationship between
these four variables and the satisfaction of employees and how it influences the turnover rate of
the employee in hotel sector. It has been found that Tourism Malaysia has aggressive
commitment and promotional efforts from the players of industry that have resulted in
continuous growth of the tourism industry. The journal article provides an expected growth
figures of 29.4 million tourists generating total revenue of 89 billion ringgit that resulted in the
increase of the hotels. This in turn leads to lowering of the turnover rates in the hotel industry in
the long run. The article portrays the fact of how relevant it becomes in investigating the
influence of diversity on the satisfaction of employees. The article also provides an insight into
how the self administered questionnaires are distributed for collection of data across 150
employees belonging to Clang Valley of Malaysia for the convenience of sampling. The finding
of the journal shows how the ethnicity and the gender play a key role on the employee
satisfaction while the education and age have no such positive significance on the employee
satisfaction in the hotel industry.

According to this journal article, Workforce Diversity is identified as the strategic
capabilities that add value to the organizations over the competition. The journal article portrays
that being one of the globally competitive countries, Singapore attracted extremely innovative
and highly skilled people for work. This journal draws a relation among the age, gender and the
ethnicity that are observed amongst workforce. Here the study focuses on the impacts of the
workplace diversity in terms of gender, age and ethnicity. The journal article also puts across
