ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOUR 1
I am in the favor of the point that Workforce diversity supports the company to maintain
creativity because of including various different members in the decision making. This supports
the organization to increase the productivity and maintain team work because of getting more
ideas from diverse team members. As described by Barron and Burke, Acorn face various
challenges and issues due to working in tea and getting ideas from different team members
regarding the subject matter (Barron & Burke, 2014),. Therefore, the authors revealed that in the
organization it include various members from different departments such as project manager,
engineering department and various other departments.
I also believe that it can face some challenges and problems for the companies as
suggested by Bredillet, Tywoniak and Dwivedula this leads in reducing the communication and
collaboration. It is because when the company wants to get succeed in the international project
the communication has to be increased (Bredillet, Tywoniak & Dwivedula, 2015). This is
difficult to collaborate due to diversity of the language, cultures and due to differences in the
ethics and philosophies.
Further, I other author such as Barron and Burke also revealed that Acorn gets success in
their projects because of more interaction with the team members. However, the issues arises
because of findings challenge in the adopting the rules and regulations of the government.
Further, I also in the favor of providing information to the companies and industries that it can
increase communication. This is due to the reason that it is considered important to exchange the
information and to determine that it can well understand by the other party (Mockaitis, Zander &
de Cieri, 2018).
