A. Organizational Behavior
Organizational behavior is an area of study which probes the influence of groups,
individuals and structure on behavior within a firm for the purposes of knowledge applications
towards the organization effectiveness improvement. Globalization on the other hand refers to
free movement of services, goods and people across the globe in an integrated and seamless
manner. Globalization implies to enhance their base of operation, expand workforce with least
investment, and give novel services to an overseas array of consumers. Globalization has led to
capitalism that is substituting government controls and hence national boundaries no longer
constrain organization. MNCs develop worldwide operations and firms develop joint ventures
with overseas partners (Alkahtani, 2015).
Workers are increasingly chasing job opportunities crossways national boundaries.
Globalization has made organizations to be more global, and their workforce have become
diverse culturally. Globalization has further created a huge shift in organizational behavior as
rising diversity brings people together from diverse backgrounds, values, beliefs, cultures all
working collaboratively for shared objective. Workforce diversity brought about by globalization
has led to organizations being more heterogeneous and organization now face a challenge of
adapting to diverse individuals. Globalization has replaced melting pot assumption by that which
acknowledges and values diversities and positive management of diversity boosts innovation and
creativity in organization (Mäkelä et al., 2017).
B. Leadership
Every leader has a series of opportunities and challenges distinct to the market segment,
history, customer changes as well as technology of the Company. Each leader is faced with
opportunities and challenges arising from rapid business globalization. Globalization has led to

internalization of companies with international offices. Globalization has impacted leadership via
market and customer base, global worker transfer rates, competition and surge opportunities.
Globalization has further led to establishment of well-established organizational infrastructures
alongside financial systems essential to propel economic engine which drives global economic
activity (Punnett, 2015). Nonetheless, globalization has raised issues from certain global leaders
regarding the financial sovereignty of economies across the globe. Globalization has further
augmented interactions between various culture and the need for recruiting best candidates that
assist firms succeed in a globalized environment. Thus, culture has influenced who global
leaders recruit and how they govern organizations (Foster, 2016).
C. Ethics
Globalization has established an array of novel dangers which require new style of
leadership-that which above all, remains collaborative. Globalization require people that can
create good deeds to individuals of society via diverse culture types alongside societal
orientation. Globalization requires leaders that handle all of its facets to create goods to
individuals of society via diverse kinds of societal orientation and culture. The neoliberal
globalisation leads to cultural and social exclusion (Ewing-Chow, 2019).
