Legitimate Power
This power should be there in each leader as this power represent the quality that how
the leader guide the team member about how they have to work in the project so if the person
has this quality then it will be able to play more successful leadership quality as it will help
him to achieve goals, I feel that it is the duty of the leader to guide the team as how to work
appropriately in work and how easy and effectively the team will able to achieve the goals so
if the leader used it positively then it will help him to get all the work done smoothly and
timely.
Reward Power
This power shows about how the leader can reward the team in a different perspective
as the leader has to decide whom it has to give the rewards so that it can able to complete the
desirable of team employees. So as per the leader is been concern it can able to have a
negative impact as if the leader is supportive to one member than it will only support the one
so I have learn that this power can have negative impact, as if I am having a favour person
than I will only help him so I will reward the same and it will affect the teamwork quality as
if only one person is supported then it will allow the other members to work as per their wish,
and this will not be able to make the team achieve the desired goals quickly and effectively.
Expert Power
As per I have understand it is how expertise the leader is in carrying the activities, in
the team as the team is been lead by the leader so he should possess all the knowledge and
knowledge so if the leader is not having any proper amount of knowledge that it will make
the team perform well in achieving the goals and objective so it is the duty of the leader to
have an appropriate amount of experience so that it will able to make the team work properly

as he has the required expertise so this will help him to get all the work done properly and
effectively.
Referent Power
As per I have understand this it show that the leader should show that, it is having a
reference in high authority so this will increase their respect and trust. It will able to hold the
value so this will help the leader to get more control upon the team, so it can be considered as
positive as I have understood as it is necessary for the team to work as per the need and
preference of the leader as he only knows to perform the task correctly and effectively so that
it will help him to achieve the desired goals and objective in the team.
