INTRODUCTION
Organizational behaviour is the term which shows the relationship of organization
towards their society and their effective behaviour of overall organization while interacting
within groups. In fact organizational behaviour shows the study of groups and particular
individual behaviour while working and performing their activities in a society by following the
all the necessary rules and regulation(Ashkanasy, 2011). This report is going to describe the
organizational behaviour of a city college and enterprise rent a car by explaining their
organization culture and structure with the help of various other effective tools and techniques.
In fact it also explain their main motive of the cited organization by differentiating their way of
conducting or running their business to achieve their particular target and goals. Apart from this
impact of leadership on both the enterprise and effective role of leaders by adopting various
motivational theories for better understanding about organization structure and culture with
effective difference. In additional overall report is going to explains the behaviour of
organization in context with every important and relevant term related or used in both the
enterprise to achieve their objectives.
TASK 1
1.1 Comparison between different organizational structure and culture
Organization structure and culture both the terms are different from each other in every
aspect according to their usage in the organization. It means organization structure shows the
hierarchy of the enterprise that means it is a system which contains appropriate breaking of work
structure in between various department according to their position and skills. In fact structure is
the term which describes the work break down structure between all the member working in a
organization having a similar motive( Humphrey, 2011). Whereas organization culture is the
norms, beliefs or thoughts on which organization is based which means it shows the working
culture of the business. Apart from this culture is the term which throw some light on history,
language and stories of the organization or either values of the enterprise on which cited

to their business demand(Ashkanasy, 2014). Whereas city college is another enterprise having
their unique way of running their business or college based on effective planning by satisfying
their students with establishment of their goodwill at the market place. It mean both the
organization use their own idea and creativity while running their business by considering their
enterprise structure and culture which is very essential part of their business(Becker, 2014).
1.2 Impact on performance of relation between organization structure and culture
There is a greater impact on performance of business of effective relationship between
organizational structure and culture due to their broad concept and complex nature. In fact
structure and culture both are interrelated with each other due to their role in business because
overall structure of a business is decided according to their culture(Waldman, 2014). Most of the
decision is based on the culture of the organization it covers the history, language and values of
the business on which overall working or behaviour is dependent. Structure of city college and
rent a car is based on their culture because their business performance enhances due to their
culture and structure. Performance of a business is somehow enhances with the useful structure
and culture of a organization which require a skilled and experience persons to make a
systematic working of a organization. Apart from this organizational structure influence the
performance of overall business working due to their vast concept which covers all the relevant

Leadership :- Leadership is a inner quality of an individual due to which an

It is very indispensable to find appropriate strategies and solution for organization
culture and structure to get accurate results by attaining the objectives and target of the cited
organization. An organization must follow the planning procedure to apply the effective

which may be very helpful in solving the business problems to establish a successful business by
satisfying the customers needs and demand(Fisher, 2012).

With the help of all the relevant matters and topic I have learned how to cope up with
different difficult situation which may occur while establishment of a business and performing of
organization activities. It means due to the cited organization various methods of motivation are
comes out which somewhere motivated me towards my own growth by using various effective
techniques or technology to learn more and more thing about business enhancement. Moro ever
due to the organization culture I have learned about the appropriate procedure of execution of

2.1 Comparison of effective leadership style in various enterprises
City college and rent a car both the enterprise adopted their own leadership style to
perform all the activities of their business by inspiring their employees towards their work and
goals by explaining their company objectives. Both the enterprise have different way of leading
their enterprise according to their planning and strategies or understanding about the handling of
a business(Harms, 2012). City college is a small private college follow the leadership style of
breaking all the working according to departments and work is done by department head.
Whereas rent a car is a enterprise in which leaders are also managers and they believe in
customer satisfaction because their main motive is to serve in a best way by growing their
business with the appropriate and effective strategies. Apart from this both the enterprise are
different in a size of a business and policies which is one of the major difference between both
the enterprise. While comparing between cited organization it shows that one is the customer
oriented enterprise whereas another believes in somehow profit oriented. In additional leadership
style is the term on which overall success of a business is depended because most of the
activities and work are done according to their leaders( Luthans, 2012).
2.2 Organizational theory
Organizational theory plays a very vital role in the management because overall business
activities is depend upon the relevant and effective theory because of their broad concept and
complex nature. Basically organizational theory X and Y is very helpful for leaders because with
the use of theory they can learn their role and duties towards organization. In fact theories is very
helpful in showing appropriate path and direction in running their business activities and task to
achieve their objectives and target(Hartnell, 2011). Apart from this it also motivate employees
towards their goals by explaining it in a proper manner by using effective method of acquiring
data and information which act as a very useful in decision making process. In other words
organizational theory act as a very effective tools and techniques for the management because it
may help the enterprise to change their present scenario according to the business demand and

influenced the technical environment of the organization. In context of this

workplace. Mainly human relation shows the behaviour of an individual and
group of people to work effectively and efficiently(MacKenzie, 2011).
Modern approach :- Modern approach of the theory is the part of modern world

employees of a enterprise because leaders of the both the enterprises have adopted a appropriate
method of motivation for their employees to understand their objectives. In fact motivational
theories shows the two different type of leadership adopted by both the organization according to
their company needs and demand(McShane, 2011). Like theory x and theory y both the terms are
differentiate from each other according to their role and responsibility in the business
performance. Theory X is a autocratic style in which all the decision are taken by the supervisors
itself without consulting with their team mates or any member of the organization. Whereas in
theory Y leaders provide an opportunity to their employees to work according to their choice and
have the authority to take part in a decision making process because employees also plays a very

eminent role in the organization betterment. In context with these motivational theory enterprise
rent a car adopted a theory Y because they believe in equality and provides equal opportunity to
their employees whereas city college adopted a theory Y because they believe in the autocratic
style of leadership.

Application of motivational theory have a greater impact on both the organization
workforces because of their broader concept and their complex nature. In fact motivational

employees adopting a motivational theory to improve their present scenario according to their
demand at work force. Mainly work force of the city college and enterprise are different from
each other due to their different style of working and different business from each other like city
college is the education institute whereas enterprise rent a car is the organization which deals in a
car provider to their customer according to their demand and usage which means they believe in
a customer satisfaction policy with the use of appropriate leadership style for better working of
the organization workforces by motivating their employees. Lastly organization workforce of
both the enterprises having a own leadership style based on a effective motivational theory
applicable on their enterprise working condition. Apart from this this motivational theory ensure
that all the employees work effectively and efficiently at a work place with appropriate usage of

the organization betterment(Moore, and et. al., 2012). The nature of the groups of cited
organization is to maintain the equality in groups by motivating all the team members of the
groups by grooming them by providing appropriate information and data. In fact group
behaviour is somehow depend upon the nature of their member and their policy. Apart from this
group is the term having a member more than two with a similar objectives and target by sharing
their ideas and opinions between their groups just like that both the cited organization have their
own groups to achieve their objectives. It means nature of the groups is all about working style
adopted by the group to perform their appropriate activities and task to satisfy their customers
needs and wants. In fact the main motive of the groups of cited organization is to work in a
healthy and peaceful environment by completing their work in a appropriate way(Turner, 2011.).

According to the above case study there are various factors are available which make the
team more effective and useful in achieving the organization objectives and targets. It means a
team requires a experience and skilled leaders which may have the capacity of handling the team

factors are present in the team of cited organization which motivate the team towards their goals
and targets. Apart from this there is also some other factors which may harm the success of team

appropriate decision for the organization by using effective research methods to acquire more
