INTRODUCTION
Organizational behaviour comprises varied types of elements that influence or impact
a venture performance and its applicants as well either in negative or positive manner. The
current assignment will be based on Sainsbury, which falls under list of British International
supermarkets in the whole world. This study will be divided into two tasks, task one explains
impact of culture, organizational power and politics upon behaviour of employees within
company and team performance. It will define use of motivational techniques, process and
content concepts of motivation in regard to achieving aims. Furthermore, this report will
clarify team development theory that make effective team as opposite to ineffective group
and will also justify implication of philosophies and concepts of organizational behaviour
within Sainsbury context.

successfully operated and managed its business within retail industry by conducting ethical
practices in term of using power at workplace in positive and fairly manner. By using
motivational technique or method, leader has motivated its workers who are able to increased
performance of business and support them to gain competitive advantages. Furthermore, it
has been identified that manager and leader build effective team at workplace in opposite to
ineffective groups by following principles of team development theory such as Tuckman. By
using right leadership style leader has influence behaviour of candidates in positive manner.
