INTRODUCTION
Communication is the best practice in the organisation. Effective communication in the
workplace is an integral element of the business success. This help to enhance relationship
within the company and with clients. This increase employee engagement and the overall
effectiveness of team. The present report is based on Mr. fishy restaurant is held by meeting in
the absence of manager. Report will covers a purpose and principle of organisational
communication. The report will explaining and applies by the different principles of
communication for work in order to enhancing communication practices. The report will
evaluate by a communication practices within the organisation for themselves and for others.
Literature Review
Theme 1 -Purposes and principles behind different form of organisational communication.
Exchanging information and passing informational ideas and thoughts from over from
person to person or from one end to other is communication as per the (Walk, Jung and Hassibi,
2019). It is process of interacting with human beings. In specific it is the process of dealing with
meanings that are perceived and understood among other human beings.
It facilitates information flow & the understanding among the people of organisation and
different departments via different media channels & networks. The flow is important for
managing effectiveness of managerial decision making. It helps in maintaining the flow of
information among different departments, workers and employees. According to (Walk, Jung
and Hassibi, 2019) organisational communication increases the better understanding among
people thereby removing the misunderstandings and to create clear of expression and thoughts
among the organisation of people by using Max weber bureaucratic. Communication can be oral,
informal, formal or may be in other forms. The principles of communication helps in effectively
managing the business operation effectively. Communication is important so that they can
effectively deal with the conflicts and consequences which can affect the performance of the
organisation.
Theme 2 -Apply principles of effective communication practices
In the view point of Murdock and et.al., 2015 effective communication plays an important
role in the achievement of goals and objectives. Also, adequate and proper communication
within the organization improves the overall motivation of employees as a result they work
harder with greater efficiency and effectiveness for achievement of goals and objectives. The

flow of communication must be done from both top to bottom and bottom to top as it would help
in smoothing working in the company. According to Clarkson, 2016 the message communicated
must be complete which means that it must be understood by the receiver otherwise it would be
of no use. Also, there must be a level of trust between both the parties otherwise the main
purpose of communication will get defeated. Furthermore, the message must be interacted within
the time limit otherwise it would be of no use and can affect an organization's profitability and
working conductions. According to Shull, 2018 principle of objective is also very crucial which
states that the communication in the business must have a clear objective and it must be formal.
Every message communicated must display a clear objective otherwise the purpose of message
will be defeated. Also, a clear objective often reduces the confusion and chaos within the
company as a result it saves the time and efforts of the employees. On the other hand, the author
suggests that communication must also be brief and to the point, it must not include repetition
and over explanation because it will hamper the effectiveness of the organization due to
confusion. Thus, it can be stated that communication is imperative if an organization wants to
succeed and grown in the future because it not only leads to achievement of goals and objectives
but also increases the overall motivation and productivity of employees therefore it leads to
smooth working environment.
Theme 3 -Communication practices of company and others.
Communication practices are important for effectively dealing with the success and failures
of businesses. As per (Garrett, 2016) they can significantly influence the business success. As
per the author communication practice should be concise and clear so that so that the
communicators are loaded with right and clear message. Business messages are technical and are
critical therefore it is important that they are understood properly by the receivers. It should be
focused over target audiences so that they understand them more effectively use the information.
understand your audience first is important in communication process because in the
communication process active listening is important. Before, translating and sharing views with
others it is important to listen proper and understand your audience what is the perspective of

Communication is the effective and valuable for organisational communication. This is
the most basic function includes inform, persuade and motivate to others. The main purpose of
organisational communication is flow of information. The Taylor scientific management theory
is considering flow of information for effective communication. Organisational communication
is creativity and constraints the information in effective manner. It is effective and valuable for
the business an its growth factor. This is principle is help to manage proper communication in
Mr. fishy. In includes process like to examine the task first and determine the needs of task in
proper manner. This help to reduce miscommunication from workplace (Burgoon, Guerrero and
Floyd, 2016).
This is effective principle for organisational communication. Flow of information is
creating great work in organisation because of getting time to time information. For effective
organisational communication here is analysis the purpose and principle of organisational
communication. This analysis shows the effectiveness of organizational communication. This is
important for development of an organisation. It is something that is help the manager. This
promote the motivation in employees towards the work by informing and clarifying the
employees about the task to be done in the manner of performing task.
2. Apply different principle of effective communication.
Effective communication is defined as the ability to convey information to another
effectively and efficiently. The business manager with good verbal and nonverbal
communication skills help facilitate sharing of information between people within a company for
its commercial benefits. Integration is the best policy for making good result of work. The
communication have aim to achieve the target (Lewis, 2019). Mr. fishy restaurant have target to
resolve communication barriers from work place in effective manner. This should coordinate
with activities of the people at work to attain the corporate goals. This skill is help to develop

those in effective manner (McCroskey, 2015). This is effective and valuable for the business and

3. Evaluate communication practices of themselves and for others.
For adoption of effective communication practices one should listen others to improve
their learning process. Require to pay attention on body language of whom you are
communicating. Observe the different context of communication of others it develops a best two

you are not understanding anything conversation with others.
Emphasize your key points through repetition in conversation process which creates
impression of your key words in minds of others and able to retain them. You are required to
