INTRODUCTION
Management is made up from different individuals for a specific goal and objectives of
the organisation. In the external environment there are different cultural factors which influence
the organisation functions. The present report based on the culture affected management in the
construction industry. Furthermore, it will discuss about the practical organisation and control
problems facing by the industry. Furthermore, it will also look upon the needs for innovation in
project based organising and controlling. Likewise, it will also explain about the most important
practical organisational and control structures that would recommend resolving the project based
problems.

1. What are the practical organisation and control problems evident in your project?
Construction industry is the sector in which work is based on the different projects. In the
construction industry there are several situations in which project suffered from many issues and
challenges (Anderson and et.al., 2015). Along with that Overall, the main challenges facing by
the projects team is stakeholders that have divergent interests, objectives, and socio culture
backgrounds. Project engineers facing several issues regarding teammates, duplication, poor
supply chain management, lack of innovation etc. it is the responsibility of the project manager is
to take corrective action plan in according to the effective results. Moreover, organisation facing
the issues related to the finance, raw material, effective human resource etc. these all factors
affected by the organisation during their projects. Due to lack of innovation industry cannot
achieve their objects and target in order to accomplish the needs of the clients or buyers.
Moreover, the another big issues is cultural factors which influence project behaviour and project
output. Moreover, the main point is to control the factors and issues which arise due to changes
in the organisation (Anderson and et.al., 2018). There are some practical or control problems
involves in the project are as follows.
 Lack of innovation: Due to lack of innovation opportunities and dynamic changes in
cultures of the external environment. Project head could not enhance their operation
levels. Along with that, this is the reason and issues of control problems evident in the
projects (Baiden, Price and Dainty, 2006).
 Supply chain control: Supply chain management is the essential part of the project
management in order to full fill the final goal and objective. Suppliers must be effective

who provides new raw and productive material to the construction industry in order to
make best finish products. Moreover, in order to achieve effective results company needs
to select best suppliers for their project works. Due to fewer impelling project manager
fails to implement best planning and getting best results. This is the suppliers issues
facing by the construction industries (Berg and et.al., 2015).
 Lack of Team spirit: construction industry require best support teams and workers who
takes work in serious manner in order to accomplish the project target. Due to less
motivated and under skilled workers, projects needs to face several challenges. This
cultural factor affects the overall management functions. Moreover, these issues may
arise conflicts among the project work (Buono, 2015).
 Ineffective Human Resource: Ineffective Human Resource workers would give negative
effects on the construction industries. Along with that, human resource is the most
essential and important source of construction industry to full fill the final objectives.
2. What is the need for new knowledge in project based organising and controlling ?
Innovation is the main invention which is required to achieve the final goal or in order to
maintain the final objectives. New knowledge and organisational behaviour helps project
manager to take new advanced results and organization decision in order to achieve the final
objectives. This helps to enhance the efficiency level of the team members. Project based
organisation needs to adopt new latest changes to get better growth opportunity. This helps to
build good relationship between the client and organisation (Dainty, Millet and Briscoe, 2001.).
The overall market expansion is the main opportunity for the organisation to take new business
growth. This process helps to manage the managing projects, managing programmes, managing
organisation, engineering and construction. There are two innovation techniques one is radical
and second one is incremental innovation through which company adopts new opportunities and
growth. Radical innovation impact on the economic and market activities rather incremental
innovation concern with the existing services, process, organisation. Along with that, it also
makes the new environment and opportunity growth. This innovation strategies and ideas which
helps construction in order to adopt innovation changes to maintain the effective environment.
Like, construction industry needs to adopt the latest technologies, ideas, and innovative changes
as per the needs and requirement of the client (Davies, Mackenzie, 2014). Moreover, there are
some needs which is required in the construction industry.

 Increasing the organisation image in the challenging market.
 Enhance the new clients and growth opportunities.
 Helps to maintain the image of the organisation in the market.
 Increasing new more ideas and growth ideas (Davies, Mackenzie, 2014).
On the basis of given needs that why innovation is required in the construction industry.
These needs helps industry to make innovative market through which client get more attracted by
the performance of the sector. Besides, construction industry is required new creative designs to
compete with the competitors. Through this process company can get the best suppliers'
relationship which helps them to provide raw material to the companies. Construction innovation
model plays a significant role in the construction industries. This provides five model on which
companies implement the innovation (Dowlatshahi, 1998). It is based on the current management
and economic theories, including the scale, complexity and longevity of the facilities.

is high performing team integration evident
Innovation, new designs and effective resources are very much helpful to implement the
plans. This helps to motivate the confidence level of the individual performance. Integration is
the major challenging and complex in delivery (Williams and et.al., 2017). This takes project at
different level. Integration is very much essential in the construction industry to make work
effective and productive as per the objective and planned designs. Besides, innovation is the
another most vital term in the project based organisation which enhance the actual reason and
give better output to the company performance. Moreover, the main reason of the organisation is
to give effective output and effective results. This gives new area of improvement which helps
company to adopt new challenging and growth opportunity. Design is the second most important
key element in project based industry design is the rough diagram for the project team members
which needs to be completed before deadline (Haddow, Bullock and Coppola, 2017). Designs
should be make according to the needs and final output this element decide what should be done
after. This helps to make understand to workers what should be follows. Another thing is cluster
which denotes team work or a group activity Which refers that construction organisation works
together step by step. In this process one process should start when the last one is completed. So
that, it can be concluded that group activity should require to ensure the better effective output

(Taylor and et.al., 2015). Besides, another main part of the construction industry is team
effectiveness and team coordination which gives strength and power to accomplish the objectives
of the organisation (Nicolini, Holti and Smalley, 2001). It makes construction company strong to
handle the changes' environment and from uncertain events.
4. What are the most important practical organisational and control structures that would
recommend resolving the project based problems.
Practical Organisational structure and control structures would help to take corrective
action plans to ensure the proper effectiveness. Moreover, control structure is helpful to mange
the work and organisation functions during the accomplishment of project organisation. Besides,
this process helps to identify the actual issues and problems (Slaughter, 1998). According to that
project manager takes corrective action plan in order to fill the gap. Moreover, such as system
integration is helps to take innovation system for product and process creativity. This helps to
make effective ways of productivity and new opportunities. Besides, for construction industry
control structure helps to take new decision making in order to fill the gap. Along with that,
control structure helps to make innovative ways and ideas. Moreover, this is the best method to
take new cation plan to make operation more effective and productive. Along with that
construction industry needs to correct the ways (Tardieu, 2015).

That means some issues and culture factors which affects the organisation behaviour and
challenges in order to identify the new thoughts and ideas. Along with that, it summarized the
different issues and problems in project and the importance of innovation in construction
industry. Besides, moreover it discussed about the innovation construction model which helps to
implement the innovation plans.
