1ARTICLE SUMMARY
According to Baucus et al. (2008), it was found out that the suggestions provided in many
literature to boost up creativity and innovation in various organizations often lead to ethical
dilemmas. In this article, four different kinds of behavior was focused on which enhance
creativity and innovation in organizations. The identified behaviors are: standards operational
procedures and breaking rules; avoiding tradition and challenging authority; generating stress,
conflict and competition; and risk taking. The article has put utmost effort in highlighting the
behavior to enhance creativity by considering the ethical issues of the organization.
It was further countered that the four behavior in association with the ethical issues need
to be implemented in the organization for fostering creativity and innovation. The authors have
stated that the issues are mostly faced because of international economy. In previous instances,
creativity and innovation has proved to find solution to different problems faced by the
organizations. Therefore, the organizations were suggested to respond to the ethical issues based
on their original theories and practices of organizational ethics. The article is summed up by
experientially evaluating the ethical implications of four kinds of behavior that is present within
the organization (Baucus et al. 2008).
