Under this structure, a set of formal processes, functions and procedure is
implemented in the organisation. As compare to this, organic organisational structure
is the flat organisation that tends to allow for horizontal interaction and
communication. This structure is decentralised by giving employees chance to ensure
their participation in decision-making. It also tends to share the work responsibilities
by encouraging group participation. Under this, communication channels are also
open to employees, business owners and managers (Schulz, 2017).
During the Corona crisis, the effectiveness of communication can be brought by organic
organisation structure which will help in ensuring the active participation of
employees. this will ensure the flexibility in organisation during such situation. At the
same time, it will help in keeping the network among different teams and people who
are working together to achieve the objectives. In addition to this, organic
organisation structure is helpful during the unstable market environment where
change is brought quickly. During such crisis, it is necessary to keep the widespread
availability of information that will result in better decision-making for reacting well
to the current market situation or environment.
