Organisational behaviour can be define as the study of human behaviour in nature in
an organisation. The study is the interference between human behaviour and the company.
The present study based on DPD group that is a multinational parcel delivery services for
parcel weighing under 30 kg that delivers 5.2 million parcels across the world every day.
DPD group services are available in Brazil Europe and other countries worldwide. The
industry is owned by La Poste. The present report will cover the importance of organisational
culture, communication and motivation. This will help the industry in attaining their targeted
objectives. In this presentation various theories of communication, motivation and culture
will analyse that support manager of the DPD to manage and operate in an effective manner.
The report will also analyse importance of motivation and will also analyse how the
organizational culture help in motivating their staff to achieve the goal.

The selected company for this assignment is DPD, that is a service provider industry
of parcels around the world. The company is specialised in the providing parcels that weigh
under 25-30 kg.
Elements of culture:
There are various elements of culture including; attitudes, beliefs, religion, decision
making style, language, different customs and along with it, it also involve the way of doing
things by an individual and other activities perform by the person towards the boundaries.
Questions and answers:
In order to understand regarding the perspective of each individual and employees about the
company and effectiveness of the management structure, various questions had been asked regarding
each element of culture that includes:
1.) How decisions made by the company and which management style they follow?
Answer: This question has been asked to staff and found that the management and leadership style
implemented in the company to follow the decision making process. It also has been found that DPD
group adapt democratic leadership and management style in the organisational structure. Under the
style leaders and manager of DPD involves all the workforce to provide their idea and knowledge to
make collective decision.
